Duke defeated an alien invasion by himself without armor, with modern weapons unless he steals theirs, is as big as MC without the armor, strong enough without any aid to rip a urinal off the wall and swing it around without trouble and decapitate aliens by kicking them in the face, and he smokes a cigar and wears shades. He is the epitome of manliness, he makes MC look like a twenty pound weakling. MC couldn't have won without his armor, but Duke could and look cool while doing it.

I dont know MC extensive Military history and training since he was like 7 would work in his favor for the most part and his armor can take just about anything that being super heated plasma bolts, much less a kick from Duke. According to the Novels rather than the video games, MC armor helped slighty except for a handful cases even then a few shots where capable of taking out his shields, he never relied on them

Duke never needed armor, he just went out to kill aliens after they interrupted his soaps, and it's been implied he also had military training and was genetically enhanced at birth. He took on an alien invasion by himself on several occasions, while MC had back up in most scenarios. And he had no armor and inferior weapons unless he stole it from them. MC has state of the art equipment provided that is on par or superior to his foes. And don't forget his armor is susceptible to melee attacks, it takes like two and he's dead, and Duke is able to kick a giant aliens head off for an extra point through goal posts. Novels aside, MC's dependant on the shields. Duke is like every action movie character and Ash from Evil Dead rolled into one, and his theme was written by Megadeth.

ahh hell Megadeth? geez thats an ace in the hole
but
Master Cheif has been awarded every medal by the UNSC, has 41 years of of training and combat experience, superhuman reflexes and strength ENHANCED by the Mark VI Mjolnir armor, been in over 200 missions against the Covenant, and survived swarms of the Flood by himself, John-117 is a legend

Duke Nukem has saved Earth by himself like ten times, probably got every medal every where for freeing mankind single handily, has time traveled, fought multiple alien races to the point where they no longer had a military or went extinct, fights crazy female robots and mutants, has been recruited by the CIA and sexy future lady freedom fighters, wrote an autobiography called Why I'm So Great, and rescues scantily clad women and the teleport to his pad for later.

I think that's twice Confuseus has won...
anyway in MC's Defense at LEAST he has new games coming out (even if i don't give a ******** about them).
While Duke has had his last one in development for like fifteen years.

He's getting released for downloadable games though, and I hear tell there is another game in the works for him that isn't forever.
