makeing an amused sound she simply turned and headed up the stairs, leading the way into Lanius's office. closeing the door behind Sam she moved to the desk and started going through the compartments, takeing seemingly random items and putting them in her travel bag. she had dissmissed Sam sense comeing into the room, leaveing him to leaf through what he wanted.. but for her sake as well as his, she wouldnt leave him unless she had to. if they caught him, he could talk.. and that would cause all sorts of problums.

chuckleing at that she pushed her hair over her shoulder, abesntely lifting a watch from the table top and tucking it into her bag. sitting neatly on the desk she crossed her legs, fiddleing with a pen and looking at Sam amused. " why, im just causeing some mischeif. i figured that anyone killing off others is upsetting the balance of things.. and that this Edward would like some of his old things back." droping the pen into her bag as well she smiled cheerfuly.

Lanius, sitting in a fully furnished room done in a victorian style, stood up at the arrival of his visitor. Bowing, he said, "Why, it is rather embarassing on my part that you would notice such a thing, Sir Sergei. I'll agree to your terms, however, seeing how I do not wish for a fight with you at the moment." He stood upright, and motioned to Sergei to please have a seat.

Lanius sat back down, and said with a calm voice, "The killer has to look at themselves eventually before, after, or during the act. Is he a savior, or a murderer? Did this lycan diserve to die, or was the human worse? Humans can be hunters, too. Not ever human is innocent, so this is the same as if asking if killing one person was worth it in order to save another. It comes down to the situation, personal realtions, plans, ideals, and beliefs. There is no simple answer, yes and no are far too limited."

Lanius answered, "Action under my direct command is limited to the higher rankings, whose names are easily enough to be found out. As for lower rankings, he may be under one of them. I can not remember the names of everyone, and if he is in our organization and has been killing innocents, one of my higher ranking officials may be covering for him. However, to my knowledge, no such individual is in the Red Cross."

"Threat or help, I have a few individuals who could take care of this Gregor. As for information, finding such sources should be little of a challenge. However, if he assists in keeping the higher ranking in power, a more subtle interaction with him might be necessary." Lanius said, his eyes still as dark and empty as his hair, as if this situation was the only thing on his mind at the moment, and as if Sergei was an acquaintance of sorts.

Lanius nodded his head in thanks, then responded. "Eventually. As you have seen, the upstairs of this fortress is a rather bit of a mess, however, the cells down here are untouched. My men have methods of getting around undetected, so for now, we'll use what bit is left there as a covering for our numbers." Letting out a sigh, he placed his hand on his head for a moment, then moved his hair back and rested his hand again in his lap. He said, "Sorry about the confusion, alot has been on my mind, Sir Sergei. My plan went better than I expected yesterday, in certain ways. It's still something I am examining over and over again in my mind, again, my apologies for assuming Gregor had some connection with Darius."
