High school makes me feel smart, and like I'll actually make it somewhere.
My parents make me feel ******** stupid, and they're constantly telling me that if I dont get better marks, I wont make it anywhere in the world. <********.
I'm getting HONOR marks, for ******** sakes.
I hate it.

Parents are weird like that. I'm no honour student or anything, but I'm friends with a lot of really smart people (I'm like the reject one of my group lol) and they get insanely good marks, yet they're constsantly pressured to do better. I want to scream at their parents, "what is your malfunction?!" I'm sure deep down they're really proud though.

Yeah.
My step mom scowled through the whole award's ceremony. I almost ran from the gym crying after I got my award, because neither she nor my dad applauded for me, because they thought that even though I was getting the award, I hadn't done well.

Mer, my grades have dropped slightly since I've been in high school. I don't really care THAT much, but my parents are always yelling at me to do better so I could end up being the good ol generic doctor or lawyer. stare

PS people: I've got my final, end of school, thiswilldeterminemyentirefutureandwhetherIgetintouniversityornot Exams. And then schoolies week where I won't have internet access. I may not post for a while [three weeks perhaps?] (though knowing my non-studying self I may be a bit naughty) so please don't ban me.
