"Do you want anything else?" Arlen asked Lily, rubbing her back gently.

"No... eat your food. I'm okay." Lily murmured, offering a small smile, eyes half closed again.
It was then that 'Josh' entered, looking pale and grief stricken as he made his way to a corner table. Reaching into a pocket, he pulled out a wallet and began to look at pictures inside it; as he did, he broke down into quiet sobs.

"What's wrong?" Arlen asked 'Josh', ignoring his half finished food for now.

Ukaia once again seemed to wander. This time. Out of the kitchen. Unknowingly she had some fish stuck to her cheek, forehead and eyebrow. She looked ahalf asleep again.
She'd gone into the kitchen to get something to eat. and had fallen asleep using the fish as a pillow about half way though her meal. She yawned widely
"hi little brother.. sis" she said rubbing her eyes a bit

"Dead... all dead. All of 'em." he answered, tears streaming down her cheeks as he looked up at Arlen. "The little one even... my poor Anna... all gone..." Another choked sob, and he threw the wallet down, putting his face in his hands.
"Ukaia." Lily greeted quietly, taking another sip of her juice. "You've got fish..." Then she stopped, going dead white as she heard Josh's words, guilt flashing on her features, as well as grief. "Mama..." she whispered; she hadn't known Anna's mother to be dead.

Baizou frowned as Ukaia entered, noticing something amiss. He stepped up to her and wiped some of the fish from her face with his sleeve. He regarded her with an expression that clearly stated his worry for her.

Arlen sympathized with the man. "I am sorry to hear that," he said quietly. "Is there anything I could get you?"
"Hi Sis," he said to Ukaia, not an ounce of cheer left in him.

Ukaia blinked
"thanks lil Bai" she said as the fish was wiped of of her by Bai. She frowned waking up a bit more. Still dressed in nothing but a long t-shirt and holding Oneka in her arm. She heard Lily and Josh. Then frowned slightly. This must be the uncle she'd been talking about. SHe stiffled another yawn

Baizou nodded in reply and held his head. What was with these three? It seemed none of them could be happy these days. He sighed, debating going upstairs just to bask in the happiness of the Ueharas, but remained where he was.

After a struggle to regain control of himself, he shook his head, blowing his nose on his sleeve, inwardly disgusted with himself. "No... no, lord bless ye'. Your gal... she looks ill. You'd best go take care of 'er." he nodded to Lily, then shook his head and looked away. "She looks like my little Anna." he whispered, then broke down again, scooping the wallet up and holding it like it was the most precious thing in the world.
Seeing this, Lily stood and walked to him, spilling juice in the process and not caring. "I'm sorry." she told Josh hoarsely, kneeling by his chair. "So sorry..."

Ukaia frowned and then began rubbing Bai's ears lightly.
"Hey Lil Bai.. DO you like the nick name?" she asked him quietly to distract him from the sobbing man. She'd also used her tail to start a pot of water boiling.

Arlen stood back a bit to let Lily comfort the man, but was ready to step in if she needed help.

Baizou tried to smile through the attack of negative emotions and nodded enthusiastically. He liked it a lot. He threw his arms around her in a friendly, but grateful hug.

"It's not your fault, gal." Josh murmured, reaching out clumsily to pat her head. He sniffed a few more times, then tucked his wallet away and stood. "I noticed a pretty lake while I was by last time... thought I'd have a little memorial there, if it's alright."
"I'm sure it'll be fine." Lily murmured, looking to Bai, then up at the man again, standing. She reached out to take Arlen's arm to steady herself, biting her lower lip. "Could... could I come?"
