Anyway, I didn't say that I'm gonna marry a white person, just that everyone in my family before me has. I dunno who I'll marry or what their race will be. Well I'm weird like that. *pets* So...is there possibly a reason why your family is white? Is there a lot of white people where you live? I dunno. People do tend to stick to people of their own colour and class and same education and all that. Especially up until recently. Where I live now it's mainly white people and immigrants from the middle east and areas like serbia. That's weird. Keep to your own color? O_O OMG. No way. Racism. O_O I thought racism didn't exist in Canada. We blend together races all over us. One of my friends is half black/half white, another is 75% native american and 25% mexican, another one is half mexican/half white (Shikume). Lots of mixed friends. Is there mixed people where you are? That isn't racism, that is a statistical fact. Commonalities make for better relationships in general. People are attracted to people who look similar to them. People like people that in some way resemble their parents, like character traits wise and/or look wise. People like people they can relate to. The same/similar values, beliefs, socioeconomical status, education and background. Of course I know people that are mixed.

I'm not that mexican you know. I feel that I am too white. My mom is pale, I am pale. She likes to deny she's white and utilizes the she was a Saavedra and her mom was a Martinez.

Wonderful. Then you can share your load of the white guilt for things you white people have done. And start using the pronoun "we" instead of "they" when you talk about all the awful things "us" white people have done!

I do have some Native American in me as well, not sure exactly how much though. I know some of my relatives on my mom's side were mestizos in stuff.
