Harumi nodded.
"I know..." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "I know Dad.. I'm gonna go practice more, come on, Konome.." She dragged the albino with her, trying to get out of there before she began to cry. Well there went her engagement with Loay.
Kurio smiled a bit.
"Come on Ushio, I'll show you your room then.." She began to lead him away. "Then we can go see your friends."

Ushio followed quickly, they walked so fast! He held the bunny close to not drop it. "Can I keep the bunny? It's so cute!" he smiled and laughed a bit.
Harichio walked away, he'd tell loay later the engagement was off. He went to his study room to focus on his work.

Harumi searched around the mansion for Loay and found him after a while. She ran up to him and hugged him tightly, burrying her face in his chest to breathe in his scent.
"Little brother's back.." She mumbled.
Kurio smiled and nodded.
"Of course." She led him in to his room. "Here you go."

Ushio nodded and looked at his room, it was so big and so...weird like it was elegant and plain. He sat on his bed, it was clean too which made it feel bigger! "Wow!" it was suppose to be his sister's room on her birthday but since he was the heir it was his.
Loay was surprised, he hugged Harumi back and smiled confused. "He is? I'll have to meet him later!" he didn't know what it ment.

Harumi clenched his shirt.
"Father is calling the engagement off... Since Ushio is now the heir.."
Kurio nodded.
"Lovely isn't it... do you need anything? I could get it for you.. or do you want to go visit your friends now?"

Loay got wide eyed and sighed. "Oh...then I guess I would have to move back with my parents in the low branch..." he frowned, he hated it there.
Ushio set the bunny on his pillow where it fell asleep there, he nodded to her. "Yeah I gotta make sure kaname and tsunya are alright! Kaname was hurt pretty bad..." he felt worried about her.

Harumi sighed.
"I don't wanna lose you Loay.. It's unfair... just because he's a boy..." She began to cry. "It's. No. Fair."
Kurio nodded and walked away with him.
Kaname opened her eyes, groaning. Everything was too bright.

Loay hugged her tight. "I know but it's the rules, if you have a son then he is the heir but if you have a girl, you try one more time for a boy or that girl is the heir." he knew the rules by heart, he had to because he was her father's apprentice.
Ushio followed her, hoping they were ok.

Harumi nodded, she hated how this clan was run! She was going to change it but... That was finished.
Kurio led Ushio in to Kaname's hospital room.
Kaname had a bandage rapping her head that was already soaked through, the damage had been to excessive to heal all the way. Her face was lightly bruise, more bruised at her eyebrow and her face was pale.

Toay let go and sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I'll see you later..." He walked off to give the bad news to his parents, they would probably disown him because of such a disappointment that was.
Ushio ran over to Kaname and took her hand gently. "Kaname? Are you ok?" He sounded worried and wanted to cry at how bad she looked.

Kaname groaned.
"My head hurts.. a-and my vision is blurry." She sniffled, unable to feel the tears trickling down her cheeks. "W-What happened? I-I just remember going outside to see what bashed i-in to the house..."
Kurio left to give them privacy.

Ushio let the tears out finally and clenched her hand. "That guy Alec came and attacked you and Tsunya...h-he took Kari and I couldn't help..." He tried to not sound like he was crying.
Toay walked into his family's house which was seperated from the mansion, he knelt infront of his father and bent his head. "D-Dad...the engagement is off..."

Kaname looked at him and placed a hand on his cheek.
"Alec is strong, if that's who attacked. Kari, even at her strongest, wouldn't have been able to put a dent in him. Don't you dare blame yourself."

Ushio wiped at his eyes and laid his hand over hers on his cheek. "Still! I should of protected you and then you wouldn't be hurt like this!" He kissed her cheek softly.

Kaname smiled a bit.
"I'd rather have me a little hurt than you killed, Ushio." She finally realized she was crying when she felt the tears soak through to her skin. She looked down and then wiped off the tears with one arm.
Toay's dad glared at him.
"What?!?!" Toay was his only way back to the top! To not being a slave anymore!
