Dreslin Omi, I guess you forgot to look after Jello's post or something. Cause I made a battle post in response to Jello's nudging. Which arised conflictions of barrier's source energy (from mud adaptation to Gaia) and a few other things. Which I would be more than happy to work out with Zelkin. If not for online times. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h214/dreslin/zelkin.jpgAt the time of this post, Zelkin's last login time is the 18th. As far as the Ichigo match goes, I had something planned from the beginning of the arena floor destruction. Ahhh. Your 18th post appeared OOC; my apologies. Though, the point on the PM's & what I feel to be stall tactics, doth remain sir. domokun

Constant PMing is mainly due to conflictions on trying to adapt mud abilities to gaia while attempting to keep it within reasonable perameters (sp?). Mix that with sporadic onlines times (work schedule changing constantly) and Zelkin un-online times. Yeah, it is going to take a bit.

Couldn't the basics of this be discussed in a "once & for all" discussion between you two, then rolled with from there? Because bluntly, it seems less than necessary thus far. Sometimes, thinking about a matter can yield amazing results, and therefore, doesn't require clarification. domokun
If I sound rude at all, forgive me. But I am impatient, and it seems that everytime a round in this tournament is about to come to a closure, there's always two or three people whom needlessly prolong it for ages..

Everything has been dealt with.
Though unless Viper posts in Mal vs. Deity I'm going to shove a red-hot poker up his a** and twist.

But I am impatient, and it seems that everytime a round in this tournament is about to come to a closure, there's always two or three people whom needlessly prolong it for ages.. Give you an example. The Spiritual Barrier I used against Victor. In the mud, it would give the monk-user IMMUNITY to physical damage. Now let's take a Fireball. In the mud (if I remember the help file correctly on it), a fireball counts as the fire, magic, and physical damage types. Due to Physical damage-type being in there, the monk-user under the spiritual barrier effect would be IMMUNE to the fireball. No matter how much power is packing behind it. This is some of the kind of stuff that I have to tone down and adapt to gaia within reasonable perimeters.

Wait, so it's all because you failed to adapt properly when you ripped?

themightyjello Wait, so it's all because you failed to adapt properly when you ripped? GHEY. I am using this tournament to help tone down and fine tune the ability adaptations. I could give a s**t how I place in it. However the longer I am in the tournament, the more time to fine tune. That is why I started out with so many of the 'same character.'

I'm fine with Dreslin's character. It was mostly trying to comprehend the logic behind the attacks not working. I have no issues with his powers. And frankly, I can't complain about much. Especially after the opponents I fought in the Grand Tournament. My first round opponent in the Grand Tournament was a powerful character. Even after he powered down to try to make it "fair", it was still an overwhelming power match. sweatdrop My character: Noble Gaian mercenary and street fighter. (Enhanced human) My opponent: Half vampire/angel, entire nervous system and organs are pretty much shadow weave and charter. In reality is a puppet body created by an omniversal being that is the real controller of this fight. gonk Edit: I won the Grand Tournament's first round because he gave up during our bout. surprised

Squares one foot forward, raising his right hand..]
... HOLD THAT s**t RIGHT THERE, SIR.
DID YOU JUST SAY PHYSICAL PROPERTY?! FIRE & MAGIC DAMAGE TYPES!? BARRIER, MONK-USER ... [Eyes narrow.] Dreslin.
If I find out, you are holding up my Round III match to apply an RPG's rules to your match & fine-tune your character.. so help me God.
Death to Sinba, says Omi.

Silencio, porpavor.
I'm fine with fine tuning during fights, that's called the process of learning. However, if you just show up one day without even making an attempt at making adaptations beforehand, it's on your head.

Death to Sinba, says Omi. The fireball was used as an example. Since the fireball had the physical attack type mixed in there, apparently he would be immune. This applies within the mud. As you can see within my fight with Victor (thank you for all the compromisation by the way), I changed around the ability to be a bit of something else for gaia. It is along the same lines, but given something else to compensate. With PMs going back and forth on how some abilities work and effects thereof upon collision. -editted-

Así, mi sospecha fue probada correcta. Antes que el silencio, la Jello - yo ahora recurriré a murmurar enojadamente, y deseando los pensamientos malos en Dreslin. El reloj, el reloj como yo pienso estes comienzos malos, starting. Starting.
... Starting.
... Nnnnn... ¡Ahora!

"I don't speak Spanish, Marcos."
I'd say that whenever he said something to me, even if it was in English. Because he was an a**.
