Your conversation yesterday made me sadface... about drawing for about 8 years but not being anywhere where you want to be. I've been drawing for about the same amount of years I guess... and I can't get s**t right for the life of me orz))

It takes a lot of time and practice, and continuous doings. I had a very long 2-year class/program that pretty much kept me from drawing. It took it's toll on me. I'm slowly re-learning everything, and I hope that I can take another figure drawing class.
But in reality, it's good that I'm nowhere near where I want to be. It keeps me going. Haa;

Art trades are the best! I always love when people want to trade drawings for stories... Except I'm behind on an art trade now because my friend requested smut and that takes like... 50x the effort than a normal story. Uhuuuuuuuuu. orz ))

((eue;; I do... with my artist friends I usually do a... you draw a picture and I'll write a story to go along with the picture, kind of thing.
It gets really precarious though, with characters I don't know, since that means I have to ask god awful amounts of information from people. >.> LOL. And the whole time I will apologize for butchering your characters integrity.
Oh wait, I do that even when I know peoples characters. orz ))

And yeah, it's a lot of fun really! I guess when people draw scenes they don't usually think about what's going on in the scene and what led up to it other than that second, so it's kinda fun to create an utterly new story that fits the same picture. c:
I'm doing a straight art trade right now though, instead of one of those... I decided I should sit and try to do it... not the smut one orz Lol. *stops being lazy for a bit.* I'm using another fun technique where I have a friend give me five random words that I have to use in the story. c: ))
