Meriko Unknown Variable Kochiyo Ishinomori Graphic's arn't everything. Those people really annoy me. I love you. Have my babies. o_o ... xD Just kiddin'. But seriously, I'm COMPLETELY with you on that one. Amen #2. Story is probably the most important so far as I'm concerned. The storyline in a game is like the flavor of a meal~ *ponder* Okay and characters. I have to be able to love the characters. That's probably why FFVIII didn't ring my bell. I couldn't stand most of the cast. ^^; *loves on Quistis*
Aoi: Okay so wait...it was a videogame, now it's an anime and manga series, and then they're making it into a book?I say gameplay is most important (I think that includes controls also). For manga, there is. .hack//sign and .hack//dusk or legend of twilight braclet (they are the samething).

Emi: ^^ heart
Aoi: Ah, thanks. Not that it really matters, I guess, since I don't have time for any of the incarnations. *laugh*
Kochiyo Ishinomori: Gameplay, like...the technical aspects of playing such as battle system and menu access? If it's bad, then it can certainly kill a game, but for me no matter how good it is, if the storyline or characters aren't appealing to me the gameplay can't save the game for me.
I'm that way with movies too...unless it's eye-poppingly beautiful, cinematography can't save a badly written script. Maybe it's because my main love all my life has been reading. Nothing mattered except the story, because after all, you don't buy a book because the cover art is good or because it's nicely bound. ^^
...I am SO hungry. @_@

*lol* Okay...mental image of Link shattered. I've only played one Zelda game and stayed out of the fandom so the comments went over my head.
I loved being able to shred shrubbery and pick up things in Zelda, Alundra, and Wild Arms. I think I spent hours just mowing the lawn in Alundra and smacking chickens over the head in Wild Arms. *snicker* Those chickens were indestructible! Nothing phased them.
If I ever make an RPG the final Boss will be a little white chicken and he will PWN the player characters.

...I am SO hungry. @_@ Also any inovations. Like the game okami, its sorta a caligraphy style brush, used for many things. Might not be the best explantion though. If you go to gamespot.com you can see a bunch of videos for the game.

Kochiyo Ishinomori: *blinks at brush game* That's certainly original. *makes note to check it out when she has time*
Alex: *dies* I used to have a really horrible animation from a glitched map in Ragnarok Online. A Spore (mushroom) was sodomizing a Snake because they both got stuck in this one tile in which monsters would randomly get stuck and just stand there in one place but still go through their walking animation.
Emi: I miss Maple Story... ;-;
Alex: There used to be a similar cosplay animation for a FFVIII group to fight Edea. I love these things. X3

@the whole pet conversation: I lost 3 of my cats... cry The first one I lost was an adorable kitten named Biscuit... whee He looked kinda like a siamese, but his mom was a long haired tabby. ._O;; He ran away 2 weeks after I got him because the door was open. TT.TT The second one I lost was the one I had when I was born. She was named Misty, and was a really pretty gray tabby. She ran away after I got my cat Tiger, because Tiger was really irritating. ._.;; Tiger was the third one to run away, and he was a demon cat. ._.;; He was an orange and white tabby, and he ran away because of my most recent cat, Boots. Thankfully Boots hasn't run away yet, but I'm kinda scared to get a kitten because if I do, Boots might run away......and she's just the sweetest cat in the world! TT.TT I dun wanna lose her......but I really want a kitten. TT.TT;;
