LunaInverse I suppose I shouldn't complain. It's been several years since I last had to go. But...dammit...I HATE Jury Duty!!! I kinda want to be on jury duty someday. It seems like, even if it's an inconvenience at times, like something that would be an interesting experience. Chances are I never will be. You can bet that in any case or action, one side or the other isn't going to want someone in the jury room who knows how to interpret law. XD

The exact same thing happens in medical fields. Everyone thinks it's going to be like on TV. sweatdrop It doesn't surprise me, either. And some of my current favorite shows are Cold Case, Law & Order SVU, and Law & Order Criminal Intent. My biggest pet peeve with Jury Duty is that I have to take at least a day off from work (more if I get impaneled on a case that takes 3 days), and I have to sit around in a giant room on uncomfortable chairs all day long until we get called (IF we get called, that is). And you can only bring a few things with you. Sure, I've got books to read and stuff, but those stupid chairs are so UNCOMFORTABLE! And the room starts to smell after a while, too. stressed This time is a little different. Usually I go to the Hampden County courthouse, the main one in our area. But this time I have to go to a smaller court, which means smaller jury pool, which means there's a greater chance of getting impaneled. At least, I know I can't get tagged for Jury Duty again for 3 years after I serve.
