((Well, it is for me. It's my most popular story, but it's also my most stubborn so I'm just happy to finally have it cooperating-for now... My stories tend to take on lives of their own and very few of them actually seem to like me, which I just find pathetic -_-"))

When I draw a character, the more they want me to draw them, the better it comes out.

Same here...
Mostly I just listen to one song over and over again though. The pace of the song helps me concentrate and my pen strokes almost become... rythmatic. It helps a lot as you say.
