Am I doing it right? XD This makes the assumption that there is a way to do it wrong. The way a lot of the later people are; they're just making vaguely abomination of science themed avatars with all the normal AT "matching" and "fashion sense." rolleyes Ah well. At very least, I put together a Cthulhu avatar thanks to this, so it paid off in the end no matter if one of the "fashion" choices is picked. And that's why we love you and your monstrous avatars. xd

Indeed! I have several new avatars from this contest that amuse me. For those curious, here's the entries I made: Now I just need to get a surfboard/borrow one from someone else and I've got another amusing avatar to go with after this one.

Winter sucks sometimes.
I go to take a shower, and there's no hot water. The cold water runs just fine, but who the hell wants a cold shower in January?
So I go track down the maintenance guy, and he told me that one of the apartments in our block sprung a huge leak, and in order to contain it until a plumber could come, he had to shut off the hot water for our whole block.
I know it was necessary...but I REALLY wanted to take a shower... crying

I think that one has my vote, merely because it's the most out there. Its body is composed of god knows what gonk *hides in a corner* FanFicGuru Enjoy being an ice block. At least she'll be able to move fast, in small distances. Ever tried ice blocking down a hill? You'll never be late, which is suited best for any occasion. rofl

Phoenix Goliathane Zelyhon MegamanPsy http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/avatar-talk/contest-product-of-mad-science-prize-demonic-wind/t.46765383/ Hey Zely, found a good avatar contest for you. Am I doing it right? XD You're doing it oh so right. pirate I'll go cheerlead for you (even if contests aren't usually my thing), but holy damn if you don't win. xd Monster avatars are just so much fun to make if you exercise some creativity to make them just as out there as can possibly be with the items that you have. A lot of the other later entries into the contest don't seem to quite get what a mad science experiment should be. Namely, it's not just clothes that match color and cover the whole body with one or two monster features. As a matter of fact, looking back, most of my entries have no normal clothes. Only the labcoat on one and the Egyptian wrap on Cthulhu, because it makes slightly more sense than having him wear the default boxers. I had some other ideas, but I limited it to these five to avoid spamming the contest with somewhat similar entries. I actually tried to not repeat items as much as I could to stretch those monster making brain muscles. With the exception of the Dinoasil (in 4 of them) and Death Whisper (in 3 of them, nothing is in more than two.

Its body is composed of god knows what gonk *hides in a corner* Well, the Rat Dress is a really creepy item if you think about it. That plus a way to turn the arms invisible left only the head to deal with, where there's the most monster choices to work with. Usually, it's the torso that's hard to find things for a monster for. For the most part, you've just got tattoos, skins, and a couple accessories to really monster yourself out for the torso.

Phoenix Goliathane WTF? Val's back?! ...wb. ninja
Peek-a-boo! rofl
Phoenix Goliathane Anyway. This page: 4) Yeah, I have problems folding fitted sheets, too. redface Especially on my own - I try to not let anything drag on the floor, and even though I'm tall, that's kind of difficult to do. emo I think I gave up on the second sheet and just said, "Screw it." ...I did like eight loads' worth of laundry on Friday, I think. Yeah. And since I live in an apartment complex, I had to haul them all to the laundromat and back. (I couldn't monopolize the machines, though, so I just used the big one (which takes about two loads) and then two normal ones.)
Five...no six loads, and one repeat because someone decided to put the sheets on the garage floor instead of in the nice, clean, empty basket waiting for them on top of the dryer. I've done the laundromat once before, and have ever since been grateful that I've never had to go back.

LunaInverse FanFicGuru Harbinger of Pandamonium FanFicGuru So, I'm going to Vegas next Friday! Woo hoo! Everyone cross your fingers and toes for me and my fiancee'. I'm hoping she hits the big one, lol. Any ideas as to what we could do? I've been there a few times so I have some thoughts, but I was wondering what fellow AGers have done in Vegas that they found fun. Let me know! I would suggest avoiding following directions to abandoned houses and/or breaking out of a police station. Dang, and that was first on my to-do list... Get married by Elvis... Well...you guys ARE engaged, after all... xd heart Stream insists that if we do decide to go to Vegas to get married, that we get married by Elvis. A definite must. 3nodding
