Jadens head snapped up as he finished his meal and in the direction of the new noise and strange smell. His food burned quickly as it always did with his unique healing and a sudden flicker across his eyes was all that displayed his sight had returned. Wagging his tail Jaden reached down and picked Myythren up off the ground and cuddled her like a childs favorite toy while looking at the newcomer with interest as to what to do with him.

Mumbling somewhat disgruntedly Myyth snorted as she sniffed the air well aware of the other. Sitting still she tilled her head upward to poke Jaden with her nose. Whoever this was, she wanted to be on her feet for the fun.

Scott quickly glanced around to make sure no one else was around before he pulled the katana from its sheath. The reassuring sound of the ringing steel seemed to steady his soul. He easily hopped up and over the low barrier that seperated the path from the wodded area and neared. He suddenly stopped and snapped his head to stare directly at the wolfs. His eyes were unseen by all as they always were, only the silver reflection that bounced off of the lenses. "There's plenty of critters around here that you can snack on without resorting to humans, you know." His grip tightened on the hilt of his sword and it seemed to glow with inner light.

Myyth raised an eyebrow at him, as her mouth spilt open in a wide grin. After a significant glance back at Jaden, she tunred back to face the hunter. "Little one, before you do anything rash, tell me this. Are you of Will's hunters?"

His head tilted to the side. Will? He remembered hearing Krii say that name once. "I guess. I don't really pay much attention to those in charge." He was reading a stronger than usual aura from this one.

Myyth's grin spread even more widely across her face, but her tone reflected a level of disappointment. "That's really too bad. Unlike that one," She nodded in the direction of the human corpse, "You'd make a really decent meal. But such is our agreement with Will that I'll need to refrain from killing you........We'll have to just stuff you in a sack or something, and dump you over at HISS."
"I'm confidant that your leaders will deal with you appropriately..... Assuming you're foolish enough to attack us at all."

*Rogue walked quietly through the park not making much noise at all...she reaked of lycan blood as well as human blood from killing so many during the day, drinking the blood of her enemies as well as quick meals here and there, killing hunters in their sleep.
She smiled at the thought.
She was still a bit panged of hunger, but she stopped questioning why...she just had to feed more.
She took a drag on her cigarette and scanned the area hearing voices ahead....dawn was aproaching as she had slept a good deal of the night and she was itching for breakfast.*

Jaden held Myythren up ready to let her go at the hunter if she so much as squirmed. He nuzzled Myythrens neck wondering if he should fight and let her play instead. He was getting a scent from this hunter that held contempt and he didn't like it much.

*Rogue could smell lycans near. Her fangs elongated as it was a natural response and her eyes lit up, glowing bright emerald.
She stopped and looked around and a low growl came out of her. She turned and was suprised as a lycan leapt out from the brush attacking her. The lycan knocked her to the ground, Rogue growling, it sounding like an angry lion. Her fist went forward and hit the lycan in the face, then a foot kicking it off backwards, the dog slamming into a tree.
She was up quickly and growled wickedly, her eyes glowing brightly. The sun was peaking showing its first rays, not quite illuminating anything, but it was the first haze, a normal vampire would be scurrying to get away from the light.
Rogue moved forward with such speed, and cut the lycan's leg clean off with her katana...the lycan roaring loudly. She gave several swift punches, and cut muscles on the lycan so it could go nowhere, and after beating it down for several minutes, the lycan began to change back to its human form, naked. It was a young woman, probably newly turned, her breathing heavy as she bled out all over the grass. She fell unconscious and Rogue took advantage as the blood in the air was too much for her to handle. She went to its neck and bit in, draining the last of what was left.

Myyth smelt the blood from just upwind, and her attention left the hunter entirely. Wriggling free of Jaden, she ears were focused up wind, but she turned her glittering gold eyes back on the hunter for a last moment. "If you see Will, or Krii'Ouse tell them Myythren sends her regards."
Turning away, she bounded off into the brush in the direction of the smell. She saw the form of the vampire bent over young female lycan. A pup if she remembered the this young one correctly. Snarling loudly she looked to the horizon is surprise. The sun was viable, and the first rays would fall on the park any moment......
And there the creature sat, covered in blood. The vampire just sat. Cover didn't even seem to be on its mind, much less immanent destruction. Suicide not being common among vampires in her experience, she looked around rather than jumping in and killing the creature as she wanted.
Glancing over her shoulder, she wondered how Jaden would take it, or if he was seeing what she was missing here.

Scott raised an eyebrow. "You can try to do anything. But you'll find it harder than excpeted. As for leadership, I highly doubt a hunter leader would allow you to freely attack humans without retaliation. In fact..." He was cut off by a roar in the distance. He couldn't sence anything, but he knew some wolf had just met her end. Scott had dropped into a readied stance, Both hands were on his hilt and the blade itself was on his right side, parallel to the ground. He looked back to the two lycans in front of him. "Looks like someone else is doing my work for me." He stated with a smirk.

After her head cleared, Evas heard low growling coming from afar. She looked, but could find no people or animals. Her heart rate rose as she smelled metal in the air.
Evas stood up and shakily moved down the path. She didn't realize how dark it had gotten until she saw two figures up ahead; one woman hunched over an animal. She could see another figure; a large and stocky dog-like shadow was emerging from behind a tree. Another wolf-dog followed.
Evas swallowed a scream as she saw the two animals bear massive fangs. They did not seem to notice Evas; they were approaching the woman that was crouched near the dead animal. Evas was paralyzed with fear as she could only stand and wait, praying that she would remain invisible.
Evas discreetly fumbled around for the flimsy switchblade that was in her pocket in case she needed it. She had a sickening feeling that if the wolf-dogs attacked, the blade would do her no good.

*Aurora opened her eyes slow as she turned to hear the thoughts of girl who, obliviously, did not know she was behind the tree, meditating. New York is, of course, a dangerous place, Aurora thought back. She started down Central Park and took a whiff of the air. It reeked of vampires. She growled low under her throat but tried to restrain herself as best as she could.

Her gaze then dropped from the ice skating rink to the grassy ground. She turned to look back to see if any vampires saw her. She raised up her hood that covered her jet-black hair and darkened her silver-white eyes. I don't want to pick a fight with anyone...It's quite dangerous, but I'm not much of a killer....even though I do have urges to kill., Aurora thought as she turned to face forward again.

Evas had to control herself from not jumping. She used as much of her strength to send her thoughts in the direction from where she felt the ping. She then realized that the person thinking to her might be another wolf-dog, and she did not know if they were friendly or not. Evas did not know where the person was, either. She decided to keep her thoughts quiet, to crouch down low behind the tree, and to keep her eyes glued to the emerging scene. It looked-- and felt-- like things were going to get a whole lot more violent.
