Echo nearly screamed, but gasped instead. "Oh.. my god.." She whispered. "Jax, I have somewhere.. I need to be.." She said shakily. "I'll see you around." She hugged him, and dissappeared.

Haruko's entire body is covered in a black hooded raincoat, his face was well hidden in shadow. He was walking along the new york street, keeping to the back alleys as much as he could. He eventually comes to one back alley where a few corpses lie. He coughs from inside his shadows and brings up a hand that was far from human. Each finger was a good six inches long and sharp for the last two. He coughs onto his hand and then spits on the corpses. The spittle was tainted red. He hides his hand once again in a pocket of the raincoat, and heads off.

Arika started to walk down the side walk. She grasped her recently purchased paper cup of coffee in one hand and kept her right hand free. She watched the people on the sidewalks, and the stars in the sky, sometimes she wondered which there was more of, people or stars...

Akame was walking down the same street in the opposite direction to Arikos and, despite the fact that she was in casual clothes, she was wearing one of her Kabuki masks, this one was white like the rest, but with a large red dot on the forehead and little black lines on the cheeks. Her eyes were visible through the thin glass lenses of the eyes.

Arikos looked at the odd looking girl walking towards her, she must be up to something, why else would she wear a mask, she would keep her eyes on her but she wouldn't stop her. She couldn't do anything if the girl was not caught in the act. She ran her hand through her blonde spiked hair and she lowered her goggles to her eyes. She clicked them on and searched her body for Abnormal signs of body or weapons

A little blinking light in the HUD of Akame's mask allrts her to an incoming scan, and locates the source. She looks directly at the woman who was scanning her and her mask takes a mugshot. It's only a few seconds before the mask matches her up to a name on the hunter list.
(The scan would show that she has no guns on her whatsoever, but it would probably show a coil of wire in her pocket with some minor electronics and sophisticated electronics in the mask. Any attempt to see past the mask would send a jolt of ions into your goggles to fry the scanning equipment.)

Arika had experience with masks like this girls, and she wasn't about to ruin her new SC on a simple matter on whether the girl was from the preternatural side of things or not. She clicked her goggles and slid them back to the top of her head. Her hand itched for some sort of weapon just incase she needed to protect herself, but she hadnt been attacked in a long time, so there was no need to attack the young girl, she could be complelty harmless, time not to scare the innocent bystanders

Akame eventually comes within talking range of the other woman, and decides to have a little fun. The voice she spoke with through the mask was not quite her own, it's modulated tones hiding her age and accent, and sounding quite eirie "Hello, Arika..."

Arika froze, and he hand slid to one of her knives.
"How do you know me?" she demanded
She wasn't going to get caught in another trap, she didn't trust this woman, and she wanted to rip that mask off her face and find out who she was, you could never know your enemy until you have seen their face and their emotions. She wanted to read the woman, but she knew if she tried she would end up losing her new SC

on Akame's HUD a circle appears around the hand and follows it, zooming in in a little box on the top lefthand corner of her field of vision. Akame knew what that meant, the Arika was going for one weapon or another. She carries on speaking though, if she had any doubts they were hidden by the mask and the voice modulator. "Hold you hand... You'll be wasting energy attacking me, I could best you in a hundred different ways but I don't want to. I'm just a shadow and I was observing as shadows do, but unlike most shadows I wanted to ask you a question"

Arikos frowned keeping her hand on her knife, she wouldn't take it out but she wouldn't let go of it either
"I doubt you could best me" she muttered
"What to you want to ask?" she demanded again not sure if she should be standing around talking to someone she knew so little about, who seemed so confident of their skills.

Smiles underneath her mask, but it's hidden on the outside, "Many doubt it and many are wrong... And I only wanted to ask... Arent you afraid of infecting your hunter friends? You're out in public... if you carry the fumes back to your 'haven' who's to say you wont infect them all?"
