"Humans to me are food, thats it." Emerald replied as she moved away from him. "Now stop with the questions, I must go back to my hunt."

Joey smirked. "Funny..I though Hunting was my job" he said as he took another step forward. "Anyways, I now stand at a crossroads....let you leave and hurt more people...or stop you here and now" he pondered. Joey took the cards from his pocket and flipped the top card after shuffling. "The ace again" he muttered. "I suppose I can let you go...I have other business to attend to." he said as he turned away, facing Demonic Ties. "I bid you adue" he said as he walked off. ((exit))

Stood in the centre of a clearing, she was staring up to the sky, her hands shaking slightly in anticipation. It would be the first time she would have seen the sun in 629 years... It excited her greatly but she also felt a bit scared. What if the ritual hadn't worked? Was she starring into her death? Shaking her head as she felt the overwhelming urge to feed, she smiled a bit. It had worked, she was sure of it.
Her fists clenching as the sun begin to rise, she winced slightly, instinctively shielding her eyes from the harsh light that was slowly unfolding from behind the morning clouds. A shiver when down her spine as she felt the warmth from the sun's rays on her pale skin.
After a while she slowly unshielded her eyes, slowly bringing her face to look at the now yellow sky before her. It was more beautiful than she had remembered... Stood in awe, she had completely forgotton where she was. The morning joggers beginning to show themselves, running along the paths and giving her strange looks as they passed. Afterall, what on earth was a pretty little red head adorned in leather doing stood on the grass, watching the sky? It was a confusing sight, but Rikku was too engrossed in watching the beauty of the sky.
An hour or so had passed before she snapped out of her trance. She could hardly believe she was stood in a flood of daylight for the first time in 600 years. It was incomprehendable. Glancing round, everything seemed so different in the daylight but she knew perfectly well where she was, and where she was going for that matter. A smirk crossing her face, she began walking - the type of walk someone has when they have a prupose. Her long coat flowing behind her in the wind, she couldn't stop smirking as she thought through what she was about to do.

Zekk felt something tugging at his tail as he slept through the day, he peaked out one of his eyes and looked at the young pup. He lifted his ears and looked at the pup. It jumped at Zekk again to try and get him to play, Zekk got to his feet and gently caught the pup by the throat, it whined, and tried to lick Zekk's face.
He walked out into the early morning light, he dropped the pup down next to the others as they play fought. He went to one of the ledges and went under it. He huffed and closed his eyes again. After a moment there was a tug on his tail, he growled and opened his eyes, it was the same pup. He took hold of the pup again, this time he put it down and put a paw onto its back to keep it from escaping and going after his tail again.

Zekk got out of the pen, followed by an overly eager pup. He sighed and lifted it up out of the pen, it wagged its tail happily and followed him. He didn't understand this wolf pups obsession with him. He headed out of the park, the pup still followed him, he sighed and formed a leash and collar illusion, he knew the pup wouldn't stray far.

Zekk dropped the pup just outside the park entrance, he slowly walked into the park followed by the pup. Zekk's eyes were dark and he was supremely pissed. Why the hell did things like that happen to Saylis? He didn't understand, she had enough troubles in her life time, hell for several live times. He walked to one of the fountains, it was off, he didn't care he jumped onto the stone ring around it and began to pace around the circle.
The pup thought better than to join him in his pacing, he sat down near the base of the fountain and rested his head on his paws. He could wait for his leader to be done. He was hungry. He wondered if they would go hunting after this.
As if feeling the younglings hunger, Zekk jumped down, huffed, and walked into the trees, the pup jumped up and followed. After several minutes the pup was eating the remains of a freshly caught hare. Zekk was sitting nearby watching the pup.

Zekk brought down several more small animals, giving several to the pup, eating only little himself, he wasn't hungry, he wanted to take out some anger on the small things, not Saria. The pup yawned and walked over to Zekk, he curled up along side him, he yawned again, licked his face, then licked Zekk's several times before falling into slumber.
Zekk picked up the pup by the back of his neck, he carried him back toward the gate, once there he shifted back into his human form, he called a cab and headed back to Demonic Ties.

Aithne wandered into the park. It felt odd, being back in New York after being home for so long almost... nostalgic. She enjoyed the comfortable feel of her regular clothes against her skin again as she walked, smelling the city air even as she walked deeper into the park.
The night had just begun, but unfortunately she she nothing to do. Nowhere to go. Boredom raided her mind, but her feet just continued moving silently.
Damn immortality was boring sometimes.

Scott stretched his arms out with a yawn. He took a look around the park quickly and then bowed his head in prayer. After minutes of praying, he placed his hands on his knees and stood up. He grabbed his Katana and slid it into his belt. He heard the click of the locking mechanism over the chirping of the birds. He pulled ack the sleeve of his red leather longcoat and checked his watch. With a sigh he stepped away from he green bench and walked slowly back into the juncle that was the city. Why New York City, of all places? He trusted his informant, a Lycan lone wolf he'd known since before the days of night, but he wasn't happy to learn the location of his prey was Scott's least favorite city in America. "Well, at least it's not Paris.." He sighed to himself.
He had to admit though, it made sence for Kel the Insane to hide out here. Where better than a gun free city for a person like him to set up camp. Scott had already had a few run ins with the police, but a quick flash of the badge usually cleared suspition. He watched a girl walk past him, her aura was clearlythat of a Vamp. He sighed again. It seemed this town wasn't too short on freaks either. His hand rested on the hilt of his sword, but he restrained himself. No use causing undue rukus so early in the day. He trudged on into the city. He'd need help in the coming weeks. He also knew the New York Hunters were in need of help. (exit)

Jaden arrived slinking through the underbrush to find some food. Stopping he listened...... until he pounced on a lone man engulfing his head between his jaws. His prey struggled only momentarily before Jaden crushed it's skull before starting to chew. Jaden really was hungry and he didn't waste time with tearing his meal apart but simply began crush it's bones to swallow it whole. The man's muscles had been superb, the lycan could taste that but he tryed to ignore the bitter taste of the organs. The man he had chosen to eat had obviously been a steroid user and his organs didn't hold the nutrients normally found in them. Jaden sat contentedly finally chewing on a single leg while the rest of his meal quickly digested.

Evas ran to the Central Park and sat on the nearest bench to catch her breath. She tried to maintain a low profile as she straightened her skirt. She was too distraught to notice the people around her. The feeling of threat weighing in her throat had sunk down to her stomach. Evas cradled her head in her hands to keep the images inside her head from stirring too fast.

Not fart behind Jaden, Myyth watched him take down the man, but wrinkled her nose at the prey's scent. Giving its leg a cursory sniff, she danced away and put her own nose into the wind. However, the first thing she spotted was a rabbit out of the corner of her eye.
In a short bound she cough up to it, and grabbed it between her jaws. Tossing it up she snapped its neck before dropping it to the ground. Tidily she began to pull it part and to nibble the choicer bits, her tail swishing back and forth slowly.

Scott strode through the park with his hands in his pockets. The smell of blood was in the air, and he knew what that meant. His hand slowly slid to the Katana and said a quick prayer over the weapon. He felt the feral beings were getting closer.
