Oh, right. He did post the "I fall without doing anything other than clutching my bleeding 'eart."
Well, I suppose it's your game then. Post what you will, though we should probably wait until he gets a chance to respond to the numbers.
...you KNOW it's a close fight when this is what you have to resort to because neither fighter can move anymore.

This isn't some anime 'close fight' where someone's still standing at the end. Not even the kind where the guy laughs and then falls over when he's walking out of the ring.
No, this is two people who are not going to get up. If this didn't end now one of them would be clawing his way across the ground to beat the other one with a rock.

i didn't mean it like that. photo finish as in kodac moment, as in "a picture of both guys in freefall with blood streaking upwards, heading to a void that used to be the arena floor, would look epic."

Ah. Not like racehorses, then.
We could always hire someone to draw it.

themightyjello Systems do not stifle creativity, they enhance it. Without limitations everyone drifts in the same direction. Stick people in a box and tell them to work outside it, and then interesting s**t happens. Thirded ============================================ And numbers make my head hurt truth be told, because all the fun stuff about wind resistance and gravity is also dependant on mass and density as well. I've never done any sort of bloody physical index on what Viper's made of, but there's no water in him or air in his lungs or any of that... I've got no ******** clue, but I'm pretty sure there's more junk to it than just this. (Like this)>_> And Vahn, aren't you pointing my sword downwards to steer, not spreading out your arms? ============================================ *Looks at the art idea, then at Deity.* twisted

I told you my numbers were assuming normal human size, weight, s**t.
I believe his statement was more of "trying to steer with it to glide".

It occurs to me that you all should have stated all of the contributory factors before I did any of this s**t. I hate you all. heart
The numbers are there, though they're wrong for the situation. However, they should illustrate the awesome power of windshear.

Pointing it downwards in any way shape or form would actually increase how aerodynamic he is wouldn't it? That's the concept behind missles.

Who says it's pointed down? The Goddamn Vahn he used the nameless blade held in his hands to receive the wind pressure

themightyjello Who says it's pointed down? The Goddamn Vahn he used the nameless blade held in his hands to receive the wind pressure The next sentence says he's using it to steer to control the direction of his descent. A feat that must be done by using the blade like a rudder. I'm assuming we're envisioning Vahn being like a sky-diver aiming for the target, by the only way he'd be able to steer was by turning his body against the wind resistance and making himself more aerodynamic.

If Vahn is holding the sword to steer his decent and to recieve the wind pressure it would not be pointed downwards. That would be ineffective. It would be held with the largest surface area being directed towards the ground, or the flat of the blade. To steer with it he would rotated the blade to change the air flow around him. But in no way does the concept of a missile really cone into play. It's more like an impromptu and down scalled air board.

Probably a useless question. Since both are falling, is Viper too far away from Vahn to possibly 'steer' towards 'landing' on top of him in midair?
