For example humans Vs monsters hosted a great event marathon reguarding three mega bosses, numerable mini bosses, and a final boss created as a result of ALL three mega boss plotline.

In most cases its to save something or if you're devious to stop a potential enemy from doing something you want to do yourself. Taking over the world usually has alot of compititors and most enemies will band together to prevent the strongest of them from destroying it or their own livelyhood.

So it would be in their best interest to fight or the defend the world.

As for the mega bosses and final boss those CAN be played by the most active player because an active poster is what makes RP happen. Even if the poster is posting by himself people will see activity, (something new and fresh to read even if they don't reply), and join in with their own plots.

The main part is to MAINTAIN a state of conflict and encourage posting of any degree. This includes sidelines that are irrelivant to the main story but keeps the pages rolling. Once a mega boss story ends its always important for small plots to develope or relationships to happen.

PS: I've been part of this guild for a very, very, very long while but never really participated due to life, other interests, and humans vs monsters. In our case the motivation was to prevent an otherworld being from being freed of its shackles by zealot worshippers. What made it interesting was that everyone who liked to fight pretty much threw the story for a joy ride, wrecked the plots, got arrested for god modding, then handed the keys to the story to the cops and let them deal with the problem as they bailed out.

I'm of course only here to provide insight on a potential reason for you to rp but not to participate since i dont have time.i do haveave a quarter made guild called soljurr academy that have good ideas for a rp system. Thats a different topic since i need workers to remake the guild a fcomplete the design.

So create a rp thread, base it off some fictional land, give it a few kingdoms and major cities, rules of rp, the just throw your characters into plots/stories, introduce a mega boss, let the rpers fight to see if they can win, if not thencause mayhem in said fictionary land until boss is beaten, repeat as many times as you want then make a final boss
