Faust flinched as what sounded like an explosion shook the walls. The ladder was knocked loose, sending him sprawling. "Yuki!" he gasped, setting the ladder in place again and scrambling up with surprising agility.

Netsubo followed, eyes wide with fear. Something like this had happened once before when she was a child. It was the reason no one came here anymore. She shuddered slightly as she climbed past the rust stains on the sides of the cave.

Faust coughed, choking on the dust that hadn't yet cleared from an apparent cave-in. "Scheiße..."

Netsubo shook her head, clearing her mind. She needed to get above ground to fight. Her face was blank.

"There's no one up here... we're blocked on all sides, completely trapped..." Faust hung his head, defeated. "There's no way out... Yuki! Mephisto?" there was no answer.

Faust also jumped; the echo was impressive, to say the least. "I hope it didn't cave in as well... where is Mephisto? That stupid devil..." Faust closed his eyes, trying to collect his scattered thoughts. "Yuki is our first priority... then we can worry about what's going on with the gangs."

"Great... traps..." Faust said, kicking at the dust with a scowl. "So we either suffocate here or get crushed, impaled, or otherwise mutilated in the tunnel. You decide," Faust said sarcastically.

Faust jumped. "Don't! Not yet, at least think it through, before you walk into the dark like that!" his eyes pleaded with her.

Faust nodded to show he understood, but there were apprehensive shadows in his face. He started after her.

The walk started off fine. Then Netsubo started to walk against the right side of the cave,"Step where I step,"She said. A few feet ahead, a skeleton was visable.

Faust followed her closely, careful not to let his feet wander outside of Netsubo's set course. His breath caught slightly when they saw the skeleton.
