I have a paper on Paradise Lost to finish, one for Sociology to start, one on Brian Friel plays to make up since I screwed up on the exam, the last bit of Hard Times by Dickens to read, some other bloody stuff in Brit Lit and Victorian Writers to read.

So, I looked up some info on wikipedia and can you believe there's STILL laws that discriminate against illegitimate children?
I mean, yeah, there used to be stuff like a child of an unmarried couple couldn't inherit their late father's fortune, etc. despite being the only surviving blood relative, etc. and most of that is no longer true. That's just it though, MOST, not all.
I really don't see the point, especially since nowadays they can do tests to prove with 100% certainty of genetic descent.
