Are you so selfish that you want kaiori to stay with you until you kick the bucket ? what then little man ? Do you think she'll just stay by your grave crying until the dark lord takes her !? *He leaps back*....n-no..... that's not it *He he looks down a moment, then looks back to Apollo with eyes rather watery.... the thought of causing pain to people always got to him* I don't want to hurt anyone..... not her. But..... I can't understand her heart or anyone else's because I can't understand my own! *Than bites into his hand until it bleeds. He summons Mastema's fork pointed lance from his blood and points it at Apollo* It saddens me that I can't understand my own emotions.... that prevents me from understanding the people closest to me. Maybe you're right and maybe I should just put an end to myself..... but I've already bonded with people.... and I won't break those bonds like they were nothing. *He charges and thrusts the lance toward Apollo's chest. This lance was originally made with the ability and affinity of breaking barriers, thus he hoped that Apollo's barrier would also succumb to the power of the, formerly, holy weapon*

Let her go little man, let her leave without you meaning something to her! Why break her heart if you're going to die ! *Apollo's shield gives way. He ducks the blade and runs forwards. His hand snaps out at the boy's wrist and he tries to twist it in a way that will make him drop the weapon. Apollo was a master of magic but he had mastered the art of Shang fighting long ago. Only those who knew Shang would dare to walk into battle without a weapon.*

GAH! *Apollo's grip is hard enough to hurt Than's wrist even through the shackles. He does indeed drop the lance and winces. He looks up to Apollo* Because it's too late for that! I already let myself befriend the people at the BC.... I already allowed them to allow me to get close to them. But, you know, I almost did leave! *He glares at Apollo as one of his shackles is released* I'm replacable!! I have no point in existing! Axl can be the older brother Aileen wants. For all I know I mean nothing to my father. Everyone at the BC had someone to care for them. It was Kaiori-san's sadness that made me want to stay..... I didn't want to leave when I felt there was still something I could do * the neck brace unhitches, Than's out of control aura starting to surface* That's why..... that's why I let myself drown that night! When Kaiori-san said to stop caring.... when she said she didn't need me...... I didn't have any other reason to live. Yet, I couldn't die! *The shackle in Apollo's arm unhitches. Than slips down, ducks, and then tackles Apollo, wrapping his arms tightly around the man's waist. Thans' holy and unholy colliding energies went into full swing. Than hoped that his aura would course through Apollo's body and start tearing him up as it was going to do to him*

* Apollo pushes up his own red and gold aura as a thin shield around himself for now. As the man comes at him he turns so that he tackles his hip. On this angle, he slams a fist down on the man's left shoulder trying to throw him over his hip and to the ground. At the same time he swings up his left leg to help the little man to the ground.* Tell me little man, how many fights have you fought and won. *He laughs, he wasn't even attacking yet but already he was showing a lot of pure power.*

Agh... *Than is hit but hangs on tight. His stomach was hit by Apollo's leg*.... who cares..... *He notices Kaiori leaving and sighs to himself*.....why...... *Than puts even more power into his aura... he was close to pushing it to a point at which it would be too far to pull back* I really don't want to kill you Apollo-kun.... nor did I want to fight you at all..... but I guess they'll be happier with both of us gone *He tightens his grip around Apollo, his aura still lashing out at both of them*

*Apollo winces, he continues to punch on the man's shoulder while his other hand presses on every pressure point he can reach.* You really do understand nothing. Kaiori is a woman of pride ! And by fighting for her you make her feel weak like a doll or a prize ! That is why I love her ! Because she wins her own fights !! *He's aura starts to push against the man, he wanted him off !*

Gah! *Than was starting to lose his grip after all the hits* But that's exactly what you're doing too!! You just want her as a prize for your clan! I asked Kaiori what she thought love was.... what you're saying is completely different from what she believes. I also know she cares about other people.... you use that against her so she can't fight back! *Than keeps his good arm around Apollo while the aura pushes him off and uses the other to throw a punch as hard as he can at the man's gut* I don't want to fight for her.... I want to fight along side her and everyone.... where I can belong....
