"Yeah, they will be," Keegan said, watching the nurse walk off, half a dozen trays in her hand. Artemis remained perched up on his shoulder, having been immune to the powerful ground attack. "I'm more worried about Jaeshan, though. It's not like he did it on purpose, but I bet he's feeling pretty bad about it." He turned around, getting out of the way of a few trainers who were queuing up for treatment. "I even saw it about to happen. I should have... done something," he sighed, and brushed a bit of dust and debris from his hair. "At least the majority of the damage was done to the cafeteria. It would have been bad if the Pokemon Center itself had been badly damaged."

"It's not your fault. Not everyone knows what is going happen. I am sure it was an accident as well. Your pokemon will heal and they will rebuild the cafeteria, no permanent damage was done." He explained. "Oh yeah and this is Meowth, my Mom," He pointed over to Violet who was bandaging a Rattata's leg up. "dropped him off just a few moments ago."

Meowth who had been waiting somewhat patiently for Dante to introduce him gave Keegan a big toothy grin. " You should listen to his advice, it's usually pretty good, usually that is, sometimes he does some stupid things." Dante just shot a glare at the cat, Levi who had been listening in didn't like the way Meowth was talking to her trainer and shot a Water Gun attack at the cat. "Hey! What was that for!" Meowth said soaking wet now.

Elekid leaned forward, then touched Raichu lightly on the nose. Unintentionally, the plug Pokemon sent a soft jolt through the mouse's body. However, considering Raichu's level of power, Elekid was sure it felt nothing more like a tickled. He quickly withdrew his arm.

Kilik looked over at M.A. and shook his head, "As good as that sounds, M.A..." he scratched the back of his head and turned around, "I've got a previous engagement at the Saffron City Gym. However," the boy snapped his fingers, "Kasiya, transfer my number over to M.A.'s PokeNav. I'm sure she has one," Kilik smiled in her direction and nodded, "I can't exactly keep Nina waiting." Turning on his heel, Kilik headed back in the direction of Verdanturf Town, already pulling his wallet out and setting aside money for another train ticket.

Keegan looked in the direction that Dante was pointing, his gaze falling upon the lovely woman. "Wait, she's your mom?" he asked, more surprised over that then the fact that the Meowth was talking to him. He studied Dante for a moment, and then glanced back at Violet. "I don't see the resemblance, even with your current... ensemble," the redhead laughed. He caught sight of the nurse setting several trays back on the table, one of which had a refreshed-looking Vulpix sitting on top of it. "Helios," the boy sighed, claiming his Pokemon happily. "I'm glad you're okay." Helios climbed up onto Keegan's shoulder contentedly. He thanked the nurse, and turned back to his friend. "So what now? I'm thinking that at the very least, I should go look for Jaeshan to make sure he's all right. He seems kinda sensitive, and I don't want him doing anything drastic."

Dante just shrugged. "We looked more alike when I had long hair." He smiled at the little Vulpix looking all better. " It probably would be a good idea to go look for him." He commented thoughtfully.

"Go look for who?" Violet asked coming into the conversation and looking between the two befor realizing something. "I know you! You were the one who won the badge from Brawley am I right?" She asked curiosly.

"You two know each other?" Meowth asked curiosly while using a towel he found on the ground to dry himself off.

Mike frowned and dropped his arms at the comment Flannery had shot him. "Aw man!" He snapped his fingers, pointing at the red headed Gym Leader. "You're helping!" Hoping to distract her, he stamped his foot on the ground a few times, the mini thumps carrying over to his underground Pokemon.

Seconds later, Nitro erupted from the ground and slammed the side of his arm, it powered with energy from the elemental attack. Leaving no moment to be left out in the open, he quickly flapped his wings and landed in front of his trainer, awaiting the Magcargo's counterattack.

'Fell asleep? His absol knocked me out!' Z thought to himself as he stared straight up at the slightly insane looking Dante. "You know kid you have some serious potential. Me and my . . . assosciates could use an up and comer like you." Dante said turning away from Z and walking to a comfortable looking chair facing the bed Z was on. He sat down and flded one leg over the other. "If you join our organization you would become rich, be able to explore the world, help people, see and catch powerful and rare pokemon and still be able to go along with your normal pokemon journey with almost no distractions. So will you join us?" Dante recited the praise for his organiztion as though he had said it a thousand times before and practiced daily. Which has and does by the way. "Sounds good but there has to be a catch." Z said through gritted teeth as he managed to sit up on the bed through the incredible pain in his back. "Well it isn't technically legal. But don't misunderstand we aren't doing anything wrong. It's more of a vigilante thing." Dante said scartching the back of his head akwardly while keeping his perma-smile up.

Kilik paused in his position, pulling his bag off his shoulders. He pulled his bike out of the bag and unfolded it. He had done it multiple times before and it seemed a lot easier now that he was used to it. Along with unfolding the bike, he picked Elekid off the top of his hair. The plug let out a whine, but was willing to go back into the Pokeball that Kilik held up. "It'll be only for a bit," he said. Throwing a leg over the seat, he set off down the Route. Breezing through Verdanturf, he made a sharp turn into the Rusturf Tunnel.

Once again, the place was thriving with Whismur. He was careful to go a bit slower than usual on his Mach Bike, making sure he wasn't going to run into any of the inhabitants of the cave. Kilik checked the clock on his PokeNav. If he was lucky, he could get out of the cave, order a ticket and get the next train out to Saffron.

About five minutes strolled passed before he managed to get out of the cave. Kilik put all he had into making it towards Rustboro. It was the fastest he'd ever gone on his new bike and he knew it wasn't the smartest thing to do, but he wanted to get to that Gym and now. He skidded to a halt and looked around. What would be the fastest way...? he scanned the area about him and pushed down on the pedals, moving towards Rustboro. The path he decided to take had a small drop-off that he went over with ease. He landed on the next elevation softly and continued to pedal. "Stupid...train station..." he grumbled.

"Use Wrap Liki!" Tanya shouted to her Lickitung who eagerly ran foreward tongue lolling about in the air around it. Sunfire avoided the inital attempt but Liki managed to snag his foot and proceded to engulf his entire body with it's terrible tongue. "Wow that is really gross." Mag said as he racked his brain for a way to escape.

"DUH!" Mag said hitting himself lightly upside the head. "Use ember. I'm sure it has a very sensitive tongue." Mag said with a smirk thinking about how taking a sip of really warm soup felt and how this would feel in comparison.

(( Hope that wrapped things ups. x__X;; I'll take Dante's picture/call thingy in the next post. <3 ))

"Hey Kasiya, Kilik and M.A.," Mitsu said after having caught Kasiya telling Kilik her name. "I'm Mitsu. The pleasure's all mine." Mitsu attempted to stand up. It's so rude of me to be sitting down. Not even after having barely stood for more than a few seconds she crashed to the floor again. "Let's just say I biked at top speed from Petalburg to here with nothing to eat but a small bowl of cereal. Needless to say I'm utterly exhausted," she answered to Kasiya. "And I still need to get Zyphyr to the Pokemon Center, Mauville said they were to crowded so I was heading to the next city."

Sapphire walked up to the Houndour. He cocked his head and looked at another one of his kind. He hadn't seen another Houndour since Mitsu had captured him from the Safari Zone. Nightmare gave a roar clearly pleased at seeing Kasiya once more. He gave the new girl a critical look before he gave another roar of acceptance.

Before she knew it Kilik was gone. "That sounds great M.A.," she said upon hearing her request.

Rin smiled, "Are you going to challange Bugsy today?" The day was still young, and watching a gym battle would also be an excellent opportunity for Rin to catch up on her battling skills. She was always short of those, always second to Risa. Maybe I really will take on that leader at Violet City.

"Oh yeah!" M.A. hadn't mentioned her full name yet, she realized. "It's nothing special. Just 'Mary-Anne.'" When she was younger, there was a week where she had been gloomy about how plain her name was compared to her little peers, until Michael had suggested 'Em-Ay' instead. He liked it, the townspeople caught on to it, and it stuck.

"Uh, alright -- bye Kilik!" she called after him, grinning feebly. M.A. wished she could have met the guy for a longer time, but if he had an engagement with a gym. . . Well, that sure sounded important. She didn't know where Saffron was, but judging from the brief portion of the battle she'd seen earlier in Lavaridge, gym battles were pretty intense. Best to ya! she thought to his retreating back, wondering when she'd meet this Kilik fellow again.

From Petalburg? That's really far, isn't it? And on just a bowl of cereal? That must've been way exhausting! M.A. thought, her mind flashing by the last subject without much lingering -- though she did jump at Nightmare's roar, laughing afterwards. "Then I'll definately have something set up real quick, don't worry. For your Pokemon, though. . . Would a potion help? At least just meanwhile? I have some, but I don't know what they can really do, so. . ." While she spoke, she began to pull out a (somehow collapsible) large pan as well as a small black stove-top. Really, it was just some metal for a pan to sit on top of some fire. Daemyn could provide that, once she pulled together enough food for the embers.

Speaking of the pup, he wasn't exactly sure how to react, so he just looked back. He'd never seen a blue Houndoom before; this one shared a lot of resemblence to his father, however, if color was put aside. He didn't look or smell like the 'bad' Houndoom that had wandered into his home territory and brutally broken him away from his family. And so, Daemyn couldn't hold the distrustful stance that he usually put up around all the Pokemon and people he hadn't come to know well; rather, he felt some strong admiration and respect, which was pretty different for him. The traditions of the pack still within him, he lowered his stubby little tail and half-bowed down to Sapphire, growling in some way of introduction.

Kilik sighed. "It's a shame," he said to nobody as he continued his ride, "I finally find a group of people, two of whom I knew..." He swerved to narrowly miss a person that was walking along the same route, "And I have to leave them for a Gym Battle. Just my luck." Another sigh escaped him as he skidded to a halt as he broke into Rustboro City. A long tire track was left behind and he smiled sheepishly.

"No need to rush, sonny," an old man said as he walked passed. Kilik blinked at him and watched him disappear around the corner.

"Whatever," he said, hopping off his bike and walking it towards the train station. While walking, he was trying his best to fold the bike. However, his effort was in vain. Kilik stopped his gait, looked to his bipedal machine and began to fold it at all the points. It took much less time than it had before and it was neatly contained and ready to fit into his bag. Kilik pulled the straps of his bag along his arms, opened it and inserted the bike. "Now then! Elekid!" he took a Pokeball from his belt and tossed it up. From it came his Electric-type Pokemon, who seemed very excited to be free. However, it looked around frantically after a minute or two. It didn't know where it was. Elekid squeaked, ran up Kilik's side and rested softly on the top of his head.

"Elekid, you realize that once you evolve, you won't be able to do that anymore?" Kilik tapped his foot as he stood and recieved a light pat on the head from his Pokemon. Then a wave a guilt crashed down on the trainer. Snagging another Pokeball from his belt, Kilik tossed it into the air. Another bright flash and his trusted Flareon emerged. The fox stared at Kilik for a minute or two, then noticed Elekid on his head. Flareon's eyes widened and it looked away, jealous that he had released Elekid before him.

"Now, Flareon, don't be like that," Kilik crouched to pet him, which the Fire-type didn't seem to want, "He's only a baby. You have to realize that." What was the equivilant of a sigh escaped the fox and it scampered up to Kilik's shoulder. "There. No need to be jealous." The trainer then continued his trek towards the train station.

Kilik got into the ticket line, relieved that it wasn't as long as it was back in Saffron City. He pulled money from his pocket, counting it to make sure it was the right amount. The boy reached the front of the line, then slid the cash forward. "One for Saffron City, please." The teller blinked at him, having recognized the boy from the train coming from Saffron. However, he put the money into the register, typed a few things into a computer and printed out a ticket for him. Kilik snagged the piece of paper and walked over to the guard.

"Didn't you just...come from Saffron?" he asked.

"Yes. I came here for a moment to do things," Kilik explained, "And now I'm going back for a Gym Battle."

"Saffron Gym?" the guard laughed, taking Kilik's ticket, "You're going to challenge Sabrina? The Psycho Psychic?" The trainer clenched his fist and then grabbed the guard by the collar. Elekid squeaked and Flareon watched in awe.

"Never..." he whispered, "Badmouth. Sabrina. In front of me." He let go with a shove, walking passed the man and onto the train. As he stared out the window into the station, he noticed the guard rubbing his throat. Kilik sighed and looked away. "Nevermind that," he said, lifting a hand to pet Flareon, "I need to focus on my upcoming battle with Nina."

What would have been a long walk was cut down drastically by the fact that Jake knew a few shortcuts through the forest that brought them to the edge of Pewter city faster then normal. It also helped that the forest wasn't that big or anything. Without being asked Jake lead Toph and Edge, who was feeling a bit better but still tired, to the pokemon center. All three of them stepped inside and going up to the counter Toph placing two pokeballs on the counter and Edge jumping up by himself, Jake placing five on the counter apparently having other pokemon then the ones he had used in the battle. "So you are going to challenge Brock while you are here?" He asked curiously.

Toph nodded. "It's generally the first stop isn't it?" She asked curiously she really didn't know that well.

"Yeah it is. When I was traveling around he was the first one that I challenged. He is the rock type gym leader. If you use your Squirtle and stick to water attacks you should have no problem on him, if your pokemon know any fighting move's I recommend using those as well." Jake supplied helpfully. Suddenly a bing was heard from the nurses station. "Well I guess that is our pokemon." He said with a smile an both of them got up and made their way over to the counter to gather their pokemon. Edge upon seeing Toph jumped down immediately taking his place at her side. Picking up Storm's and Queeny's pokeballs and putting them on her belt and feeling more then ready to take down this cities gym leader.

"Well thanks for all the help, but I have a gym leader to go beat." Toph said with a smirk on her face. With a grin and a wave goodbye she left the pokemon center and after conferring with Edge they made their way to the gym and stepped inside the cool large building. Immediately Toph felt at home, the large rocks everywhere were perfect for her unique kind of vision. Her grin becoming wider she started to walk inside feeling a few people in their as well. Suddenly a person who had been 'hiding' behind a rock jumped out at her, she wasn’t really surprised like she supposed she should be.

"Your light years from facing Brock!" the Youngster shouted, even though he was probably Toph's age. Tossing out the pokeball in his hand to reveal a...

Toph pulled out her pokedex and scanned the Sandshrew and after receiving its information she grinned. "All right, I could use a warm up battle." She said with a grin. Reaching into her belt she pulled out a pokeball and tossed it out to show an aggressive looking Queeny ready to take on anything that was put against her.
