A deep, resounding, sigh escaped from Tegral's lips as he pulled them away from Kaiori. "Excuse me a minute my dear," He said, as gently as possible removing the lovely woman's arms from around his neck, "It seems there's a couple of things I have to go and take care of. Wait here." Kairoi was free to do what ever she wanted, which very much included following Tegral, but the good Admiral was about to enter in the old fashion world of battle. The idiot with the shadow pet didn't know who he was pissing off, apparently, to think a simple little Tom Clancy trick like that might work. Too many video games, apparently.
The shadow doppler's disappearance didn't really do anything but hurt the man's chances of actually encountering the Admiral, aware or otherwise. As soon as it's energy matrix vanished from the K-72's immediate sensory equipment the special operative units cranked their sensors up to combat grade and began probing the area. The man may have been 'unnoticed' in getting past the momentarily occupied machines, but his shadow would ultimately betray him as the machines of war homed in on it's unique energy signature. Everything had a scanning resolution, yes even something as insubstantial as a shadow would if it was used in the manner the man had done so, and with the 'mystical' world that the Black Company resided in it was possible to measure and track the distinct matrix of strange and abnormal energy pulses that comprised what ever force manifested itself into the shadow's physical form.
Finally answering KB's annoying beeping Tegral roared with annoyance, "What the ******** hell do you want, b*****d?!" Of course, even if Kaiori followed, she wouldn't be able to tap into the sudden burst of agitation that now passed from Tegral to KB. All he wanted was one day, one god damned day, of peace and quiet. Spend some quality time with someone he enjoyed being around, drink some wine, and just relax, but no! This dumb b*****d has to beep in his ear and this other moron has to intrude on his peace simply because he couldn't control his own blood lust, after all no one was actually stupid enough to confront Tegral so what other excuse could there be. "I'm irritated as all holy hell right now, so you better have a good reason for interrupting me."

*Kaiori sighs and stands on legs that shake like a fawn’s. She stumbles after Teg, grabbing her guns on the way and shutting up her house. She hated this, there was always some retard willing to stir up trouble for no reason at all…. and always at the most inconvenient of times. She didn’t know this man but was sure a snack would tide her over and maybe sober her up a little. She is surely drunk and can plainly tell herself that her aim will definitely be awful, so she calmly switches her guns from precision to rapid fire.*

"Beep beep beep beep beep beep..."
KB was rolling around and laughing hysterically, in binary.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL = 101010101010101010101
Poor Teggie.
"Beep Beep beep. Hahaha! Beep beep beep, get it? Beeeeeeep!"

After a short while, the man's patience wore thin. He wasn't used to waiting and walking around silently. No, he just went about things in the most destructive manner possible. Finally, he decided it was time to cause some chaos, and in doing so, draw anyone in the forest to him.
"Heh...show time."
With the clichéd line, the man would jump high into the air, and crash down to the earth, flaming gauntlet first. For half a second, nothing would happen, but suddenly, giant waves of flames would come flowing out from his position in full circles, burning anything in a 50 meter radius around him.

Tegral's irritation was growing with each passing second. Mastema still refused his request, understandably so since he's been trying to kill the man's family for some time now, Thanatos was chattering like an annoying insect, KB worse off still, and now this clown was punching huge flaming holes in Kaiori's forest! So much was his irritation he really didn't slow as this expanding bubble of flames engulfed his shielded form.
Glittering light surrounded his body, energy crackling against the heat of the fire, and protected him from harm. His shielding system followed a method of dispersement rather than absorbing the force of attack, in other worse the shield transfered the energy of a single point across the entire surface of the shield thus reducing it's over all potency. Something as simple as fire, even arcane fueled, was shrugged off with barely a foot note to the shield's integrity.
Whether or not Kaiori decided to follow Tegral into the roaring inferno was lost to the Admiral, no he was too irritated to take note of the Queen of Twice Royal's presence.
"You done?" He asked, voice as hard as the metal his army was forged from. Tegral was at the limit of his patience.

*Kaiori was thankful that her forest had lost most of its connection with her but she was still feeling like throwing up from the smell of her burning trees. She would calmly follow Teg, drunk and stumbling. She looked slightly more dangerous with her disheveled appearance.*

Tegral stared at the flickering flames as his assault shuttle descended from the skies. Whining turbines pushes powerful gusts of air downward, enough to quell any flames left in the newly formed clearing, while weapon hard points and sensor arrays probed and scanned the skies and forest for any indication of a follow up attack. Off in the distance one could hear his personal shuttle lifting, adding it's own additional firepower to the support of the more combat focused ship. With the grace and ease of a pilot who's done maneuvers such as this one before the shuttle tilted forward and spun one hundred and eighty degrees while it slowly drew closer toward the ground. Landing pads remained in the safety of the vehicles belly, it had no intention of remaining here for more than it took to pick up the Admiral, so it'd simply hover a foot off the ground.
As the transport lowered itself into the clearing Tegral turned towards the drunk Kaiori. She was adorable, in her own way, and something inside of him was actually glad that there was no one here to pound into the dirt. Simply because he wasn't quite sure Kaiori would be of much assistance in her current state and he really didn't want her hurt. "Well," He said, his voice elevated slightly so it would carry over the intrusion of the ship's turbines, "It seems I'm to take my leave."
Taking a step closer Tegral cupped one hand against Kaiori's face, his thumb lightly stroking her cheer, before leaning in and giving the Queen of Twice Royal something her husband likely hadn't given her since their marriage: a kiss of passion. Lust and desire mingled with affection and fervor. To say it was a kiss of love would have pushed the limits of the word, but not by much. Holding the kiss for a moment longer than he intended he broke away and took three steps back, which - with the hovering shuttle's walk plank down - brought him inside the air craft's armor belly.
Standing beside himself, literally, Tegral waved down to Kaiori while the shuttle's ramp closed. The Admiral, who stood with his arms crossed, watched as the shuttle began to rise. Though identical in appearance, with the exception of the clothes they wore, it was fairly easy to see the difference in the two. The Admiral was hard and cold, his facial muscles hinting no indication at his feelings, his eyes were as hard as the rest of him. Tegral, though built physically, had a definite warmth to his body language. Plagued by war, death, and destruction for a goodly portion of his life had left him a sorrow filled man, and his eyes reflected that, but on the rare occasions when he smiled his whole body seemed to light up from the inside, radiating this pure and honest joy across his face.
A shout came from aboard the ship, whether it was the Admiral who spoke or Tegral it was hard to say, "Don't forget your other present!"

*Kaior would stomp outside her house in a huff. Dressed in a white lace night gown cut to the thigh she seemed in a rage. Trampling through her garden she sits among the flowers closing her eyes and breathing them in, hoping to calm her restless night.*

Short brown hair caught what little light illuminating the darkness of night as an unknown figure staggered through the forest, his dark brown eyes, glazed with the typical look of someone who'd drunk way too much, looking almost black as he tripped over a fallen branch. "God damn it!" He cursed, the voice sounding almost familiar. Slowly, with almost surgical care, he pushed himself to his feet and dusted his knees off. "Bloody hell." He grumbled and resumed his stagger into the Silent Forest.
Dark blue jeans and a slightly faded black t-shirt seemed to make this six foot man of modest build virtually disappear into the darkness of the night, with the exception of his darkened silhouette and lightly tanned flesh.

*Kaiori was usually one to greet guests with a smile but she was hardly in the mood. Her angry red eyes glow in the darkness as she seeks out the person she can hear walking through the trees. Her hair is light purple, probably a newer version of her original hair color. The moon light catches her river of flowing soft hair making her stand out among the glowing white flowers of her garden. The scene would have been angelic had it not been for the glowing red eyes.*

The man would have looked like a piece of the night come to life to anyone who didn't happen to have vampirically enhanced night vision. To Kaiori she would be able to see every identifiable feature as though it were high noon. His body was slender, a definite change over his usually overly defined build, but the faded black T-shirt hugged close against the powerful muscles that worked beneath the flesh. His hair was cut close to his head with a slightly boxed appearance to it with the hair cut shorter on the sides and back of his head while the top was pushed forward and held in place with a slight amount of hair gel. His lips, right now curled in a snarl of disgust at the damn bush that just attacked his leg, were well hydrated and lacked the usual chapped effect most men had in relations to either not drinking enough fluids or simply not applying chap-stick. The eyes, right now glazed with the effect of too much drink, were dark brown and seemed to have an ring of gold circling the iris and seemed slightly haunted despite the twinkle of mischif and merriment one could clearly see in them.
...He almost looked like Tegral with the exception of a few differences.
Kaiori would have been able to tell it was him, as all living things secreted a pheromone that only the hyper-sensative senses of animals and various forms of mythical creatures could detect and Tegral was no difference, as she likely would recognize such similarities between this moment and the time he last visted her in a biological - albeit cybernetically enhanced - body.
"Hey Kai!" He called and held something up in the air. An unlabled bottle, dark liquid sloshing behind the curved, tinted, glass, was held by the neck and, as Kaiori was likely to soon find out, contained some of Tegral's precious Winter's Wine. The wine itself was something extrordinary in of itself. With berries grown on one world in particular, the solar system itself home to the three planets that grew the berries for Winter, Spring, and Summer wines, the taste differed from person to person and could range anywhere from a soft peppermint to rich, bold, fruits, one time Tegral had even heard it tasted faintly of chocolate and oranges - weird.
If this man, who no longer identified himself as Tegral, recognized the anger boiling behind Kaiori's eyes he gave no hint of it. He still continued staggering a closer towards the Queen of Twice Royal's garden with narry a care nor a worry, save that of delivering the bottle as he had promised to last time.

*Kaiori's eyes would soften slightly at the sight of him. Her fragile but deadly arms and delicate hands reach out for him, or the wine, it was hard to tell which she hungered more for. She mumbles to him in a sleepy and gentle voice.* You look different. I don't think I've had enough to drink to believe this isn't real. *She looks cold in such a thin dress but it was debatable if she could actually feel the cold.*

The being who was once known as Tegral smiled at Kaiori, stretching out his arms as well. One hand reached out to place the bottle in one of Kaiori's outstretched hands while the other intertwined his fingers with her's. "You like it?" He asked, words slightly slurred. "I decided that if I wanted people to trust me they'd have to see me for more than who I use to be." His ear to ear smile made him look infinitely different than anything he'd done to his appearance.
Stepping in closer he pressed himself against Kai, his neck craned down so he could bring his nose an inch from her's, one hand still holding the bottle of whine while the other still held firm to Kaiori's hand. "So," he said, warm breath caressing Kaiori's lips and smelling of spearmint and some sort of exotic fruit, "How about we go inside and pour a few glasses, eh?" Unlike Kaiori who was potentially immune to the cold he was not, goose-bumps stretched the length of each of his exposed arms, lips turning a faint purplish color. He was cold!

*Kaiori would still seem surprisingly small compared to Teg, it seems she had either lost weight or become slightly sick. Her body is also surprisingly warm, in eerie pulses, like the beating of fresh blood. She raises their clasped hands and brushes their knuckles over his blue lips.* Weakling, can't even handle a chill. *She wasn't too serious about her comment as she drags him back to her home which seemed as warm and inviting as ever. She lets him carry the bottle but continues to hold his hand for dragging purposes.*

Dragging purposes, yeah right.
The man who refused to acknowledge himself as Tegral smiled at Kaiori for a moment and even gave a faint hint of a kiss on her knuckles as they passed by his chilled purpled lips. "Yeah, so what? I'm trying out the human thing. Been a long time since I've been flesh and blood on ALL parts of my anatomy!" Well obviously Tegral couldn't have been considered a cyborg without some part of his body being biological...he chose two, what two he wasn't going to say but suffice to say he chose two.
He entered in behind Kaiori, still smiling, and commented, "You nevered answered my question: Do you like the way I look now? Am I less...male for you?" He laughed at that. The very idea of Tegral being less man was absurd, but then again he wasn't Tegral anymore now was he. He'd wait for her to answer as he wandered off in the direction he assumed was the kitchen, unwilling to release Kaiori's hand and was thus forced to drag her with him through his self-induced tour of the house propper. If he found the kitchen all the better! He'd find some glasses, pour some wine, and who knew? Maybe a jolly-good time would come out of it. If not...well he could always hope to find the bedroom. He'd ******** her brains out right now! Being a human also meant having human desires, and it'd been a long time since he had thought with BOTH heads at the same time.
