Merc smiles and moves over when Seth comes to sit near him. He looks up, thinking that Seth was checking on Diego. maybe not all tennis players were horrid cooks and Diego could hold his own...

"I thought that raincoat was cute. Right now? Wet, obviously. I think they're even more slippery than normal clay, I think the powder is finer than normal here. Otherwise, they're really well taken care of, so they're pretty good."

Diego looks at Merc. "Why do you not like water?" he asks.
Merc sighs. "I'm a catboy, like cats, I don't really like getting wet either. I don't like the rain, I don't like lakes. I sometimes am ok with showers but mostly, I like staying dry. Water is gross."
"And you're with Sethos?" he asks, smiling. "He used to take three showers in one day!"
