Leo nodded. "It was either Raki or Ash. Asher was having a bad dream and almost squeezed the life out of Raki. He's okay now though." he said softly, finding out Raki was alive had really taken a toll on Asher. He thought Asher would have had a much easier time coping with this good news, but maybe those nightmares were trying to warn them of something to come.The Crazy Tomboy ((Sorry for the late response, my internet has been really weird.))

"Give him a few days. I mean, he just found out about his brother a couple days ago, I assume," Chase said with a look of understanding. "I'm guessing Asher lost him once in a horrible way, so finding out that he's alive... He's lucky." At least he got back someone he loved. He also had someone who was willing to support him. Most of all, Asher had no abilities to suffer from. Chase envied him somehow.

Leo gave a small smile and nodded. "Yeah, you're right. I guess I just didn't expect Ash to react this way. I would assume he would be having nightmares if Raki died just a couple days ago but this is kind of strange." he said softly. "I'm not sure but...for the past couple of days I keep getting the feeling that something is trying to warn us all about something that's going to happen. I guess that's kinda silly huh?"The Crazy Tomoby ((Fixed the net problem for now.))

Chase frowned. "No, it's not silly," he said very seriously. "Take every warning, even every feeling seriously. You might regret it if you don't." His heart hurt at Leo's unintentional dismissal, but he knew he couldn't blame the boy. "I do wonder what that warning is. Maybe we'll get more over time. It must be some very important warning."

"I just hope it isn't something that's gonna come bite us....you know?" he said softly, wondering how long Raki and Ash were going to spend in bed, he was sure it was starting to go onto the next hour.

Chase was still rather bothered, but smiled again anyways. "Yeah, I really hope it isn't," he said almost sadly. "I'm sort of worried now. We should be extra careful until the feeling goes away." He glanced nervously at his snoozing sister, wondering if she had any predictions lately. Usually, when he didn't have predictions, she would.

Rin listened to the boys' conversation. She knew Chase was concerned for his sister and she didn't blame him. "Don't worry about Cherry. She should be fine in the next week or so." she said softly, speaking from experience so her words had a little weight to them. "If you place more trust and responsibility in her....she will recover faster."

"More trust and responsibility?" Chase parroted. "I don't know if I can do that." Cherry was just so impulsive, selfish, and sometimes dumb! Because of these, Chase had sometimes had a hard time trusting her with anything! It sometimes made him wonder if he was supposed to have been the older twin.

Rin gave a soft sigh. "I went through the same thing when I was younger Chase. If you give her mind something else to think about she might just surprise you. It's better than putting her to sleep every time she acts like this anyways."

"So you're telling me you were all twitchy and insane?" Chase asked, raising an eyebrow. "Besides, I don't know what to give her to think about. She doesn't seem to be able to keep her mind on anything besides promises. What would you suggest, Rin?"

Rin couldn't help but laugh. "It's a threshold. Some people have a higher threshold, which means their minds and bodies can withstand more stress. Some, like me, have a lower threshold. We can't take much stress, especially me. I would suggest finding every activity that she likes and providing them to her. Elsa bought me ingredients to bake, coloring books and colored pencils, sewing projects...we played card games. I was able to recover a little faster."

Chase stared blankly at Rin. "The only thing she seems to like to do is make smoothies, and I don't see a blender around here," he said with a sigh. "Maybe I'll just explore the city with her the next time she wakes up. I do recall she liked to appreciate tall buildings." Anything to get her to recover as soon as possible, he supposed. "Rin, is the lower threshold that caused Cherry to lose her sanity? I don't know how to explain it, really. I couldn't find anything in our books."

Rin sipped at her coffee. "No....it's breaking the threshold that causes this. The determination as to whether the threshold is high or low is dependent on how well someone can take stress. Take me for example, I took one look into a murder's crime scene and the same thing happened to me, it was the first time I saw a horrible vision. But Cherry is much older so I'm sure she's dealt with more stress than me. Therefore she has a higher threshold than I do, but even she crossed that line."

Chase wasn't sure what to say of that. "Well, it probably didn't take much for her to cross the line. We've never had formal training in regards to using magic," he admitted, though he wondered if Rin already knew that somehow. "This is the first time this sort of thing had happened, but we never used our magic much anyways."

Rin grew curious. "What kind of magic?" There wasn't very much she knew about them but this was a good chance to figure out what kind of people they were. Depending on what kind of magic they used, their strength combined would drain rather quickly.The Crazy Tomboy ((I realized I was using the wrong color >> ))
