The Great Absolute Ali is a boxer that fought boxers. That isn't a good example. Not only that but Ali was stepping in, with the intent of stepping out his hits were landing and dazing, thats if he was even doing that step in which i don't know. He was doing a step in, she was doing a berseker charge….quite quite different.

I'll one on one Ertai in a thread now, it really doesn't ******** matter now does it. Post tournament if you even make it past the first round, you can come hunt me down IC and take a shot. Vintrict OutlawD One Vintrict I think, Outlaw, what everyone is saying is that in a tournament where everyone is supped up and capable of superhuman feats, the last thing you should be complaining about is someone being able to dodge a punch. Also, Muhammad Ali was the epitome of hit n' run capabilities. And he's just a human. Vin its not the dodge its the impossible way you dodged. Back peddle after a charge and swinging a war hammer would be impossible to do without a pretty good time pause which would have been too late to react anyway. Other than that it said clearly he stepped in so even if you could back peddle you'd still be caught cause the step forward would make up for the back peddle. lastly a believable and possible way to dodge it would have been a bob or weave tactic. Thing is your motion would have gotten you hit and you were so worried about being hit and caught in the coming combo you tried to escape it but your escape move wasn't a good option Let me emphasize the word you just said. "Impossible." Everything the characters are doing are already impossible. Super strength, manipulating chains, reflecting stuff. don't forget your wielding a war hammer like a toy….anywho, even with the powers it would a scale thing, and your character doesn't have the ability to do stop and move backwards from a charge instantly does she? if she does i was unaware and thats all you had to say, but remember the step in still closes distance

OutlawD One Its not a very small difference its a big difference something thinking for itself could act on its own not need to be controlled. As for the chains, they are not super strong and THAT IS THE POINT! He should have thought outside the box. They aren't super strong and can be broken, and bent or what not….and its not the chain that broke his arm, but it helped for the to be a possibility…you didn't read i see. Have something hold your bicep to your torso while your forearm snaps out to the side….if your bicep can't move with it, and your elbow doesn't bend in that way then there is a high chance of breaking or spraining. Without super strength, you can't just break a chain by pulling it or even simply hitting it. It would take some time and leverage. Its a chain, of course its bendable but that chain is also being animated with supernatural forces.

Your character can use a reflect move with just a thought capable of deflecting the power of a hammer. I don't care about what our characters can do. That's the point of the fight. Contest of Champions. Goku vs. Superman. Ali vs. Tyson. Megazord vs. Optimus Prime. How do you know what Athena can or cannot do? Why does it matter? Amongst all the moves we have done so far, you're still stuck on her being able to dodge a punch backwards. Guess what? She can. But I compromised for you. I let her not backpeddle. I let her slump against your character instead. That way we can keep the fight going. Our current posts has nothing to do with a punch. Why aren't you replying? You tried to pull my character upwards. Athena responded with a tackle. Your move still worked, but she changed its direction. There's nothing else to argue about. We were pass the punch problem already. Nothing is stopping you from posting now. Nothing.

Such hostility... what once was a simple discussion on mechanic has now become a s**t throwing contest.
All because everyone has an opinion but not everyone understands how to express their opinion.
Furthermore... A majority of you prefer to act like grade school children.
I saw the argument at it's birth...made reference to...realized "Jello got this" and moved on to another topic.
I did this for two reasons...
1) Outlaw isn't going to listen if twenty people are confronting him. He's just going to stand his grown and become defensive because that's what people do when they get ganged-up on these type of discussions.
2) It's not that serious or important...or worth my time to convince someone who didn't ask for my input on why I think he did something wrong. Vinny taught me that a long time ago.

I am capable of making sprites like that. If you please, I would like to ask you to make me a sprite of a character set in that universe. Will detail in PM if you are interested.

SWiss wants a nudey sprite. :3 The community is doing what a community does. If he's going to stand his ground on something so very wrong, he's going to find the ground shrinking around him very quickly the more firmly he plants his feet. As for me, I haven't made any ad hominems and I even pointed out how ridic some of Vin's stuff is. Though Bojuka's the one who called me a douche and it really hurted my feelings.
