Lavi couldn't hold in an indignant laugh when Kyle posed his rhetorical question. To even ask that question while he was in the middle of blackmailing them was absolutely ridiculous. He lowered his finger again when it was slapped away, scowling at Kyle's unimpressed attitude. After Kyle left, Lavi kicked a nearby chair in anger and frustration before sinking down on it, resting his elbows on his knees and burying his face in his hands with a groan. "This is just great... I'm so sorry, Sil..." He shook his head slowly, "That you have to put up with this... You don't have to do all the things he asks of you if you don't want to. I'd understand. Especially wearing slutty maid outfits. I don't want you to."
He didn't have as much confidence as her that everything would turn out fine, wondering when everything would blow up in their faces. It would probably become suspicious after a while, too, if he and Sil were waiting on Kyle like a couple of servants and it would be clear that he possibly had some dirt on them. He'd just have to see how this was going to play out, hoping that it wouldn't be as bad as he thought. The only thing he knew for sure was that if he ever did get the message that he would have to leave, the first thing he would do was to go and beat Kyle senseless for all of this, his leverage gone.
Lavi badly wanted to go over and give Sil a comforting hug, but seeing what just happened, that was most likely not a smart thing to do right then. It'd probably be best if they kept some more physical distance in public for a while, the whole catastrophe leaving him with an irrational fear that their usual closeness would start making people suspicious all of a sudden. He leaned back in the chair and slid down slowly, a deep sigh escaping through his nose. "Now what...?"
