Yes, Genki is good, though I'm a little irritated at it because it failed to get me into 301.
But I may end up raging if the second year Japanese classes (which I am retaking at my new school so I can get into 301) switches to Genki II...

All the dying children Have you heard of Nakama? It's so bass ackwards. They introduce new vocabulary at the end of the chapter, after they spent the entire chapter using it, and there aren't any practice exercises using the vocabulary. But Genki I doesn't cover そうですand かもしれません, I didn't think...

It was called Howl's Moving Castle. Yesterday...or the day before, I watched Spirited Away. Studio Ghibli make some nice movies.
