((Haha, I know. And Bo isn't all that memorable cuz he's just... a little teen with big glasses, braces, weird hair and a super bad temper.... I always thought he was cute but nobody else really seemed to like him as far as I know. xDDD;;;;; And yes, Dov is hot. Like... super hot. As in model hot except hotter because model hot is just... weird when seen RL. 8D;;;;; And he's super tall, too. [cuz he's a giraf xD ]))

Black eyes glanced up towards the older male, the grin on his lips soon being replaced by a rather pensive scowl. He wasn't sure whether or not he should take that as a compliment, since Wei was calling him stubborn (which he was but it was usually a negative description) but was also implying that Ea was strong enough to be.... the object of Wei's affections. What the hell? Wasn't Wei the b*****d who was all "no, you little ******** head, I just like screwing you and messing up Penn's life and I don't really have any attatchment towards you except hate because you're a ******** mongoose." Eyes fixed on the older male, Ea muttered, "Wei, you're a weirdo, you know that?" He didn't look as if he was joking, either.

Ea blinked and stepped back a bit as the bell was thrust into his face. The scowl, which had fallen more into a frown, strengthened doubly as he shot a small glare at the man. "Geeze, Wei!" he exclaimed, one pale hand reaching forward to snatch the bell. It was pretty much impossible to discern from his expression whether he was serious or just joking.

[[Was I using a color for Sparrow? I can't remember. Oh well.]]

Sparrow watched with a certain amount of uncertainty as a squirrel tried to skitter across the lawn, only to be held up because its little claws couldn't gasp the ice-covered snow well enough. It was sad to see the animal struggling so, but Sparrow knew he couldn't exactly swoop down and help. It was a wild animal and they were either too scared or too vicious to be handled, even if he wasn't exactly human. Holding up a hand to his head, the nineteen year old sighed heavily. He knew it had been stupid flying like that when it was snowing, but he couldn't take the car because Trist-- because Tristan was using it to get to work.

Sparrow blinked several times before realizing a little bit of his memory had fallen back into place, and it hadn't even been some dramatic remembrance either it's had just...come as if nothing had happened. He still couldn't remember where he lived or his name but he was sure those things would come in time. It was more than uplifting to know that he wasn't quite a blank slate anymore and that said slate would, hopefully soon, become muddled with the rest of his life. Brushing choppy, dark hair behind an ear, the young man pressed his forehead against the chilled glass of the window, closing is eyes a moment before sitting back up.

Hopefully soon everything would come back...

[[Is it just me or is all the font larger? O_o;;]]

"I've been called worse," the snake mumbled snatching the bell back, closing his hand into a fist over the bell, "Your insults don't even faze me anymore," he murmured with a grin as he set the bell back in it's proper place next to the stack of ribbon and wrapping paper.

((It's either you or your computer. There's a button on the toolbar of internet windows on some systems that lets you change how magnified the screen/lettering is or something like that. *shrugs*))

Ea rolled his eyes and then rolled the cart off, grabbing several more things before he headed off to where the alcohol was. He knew the store very well -- obviously because he had once worked there. He grinned back at Wei and murmured, "Pick out something you like, 'kay~?" He'd already selected several things himself, knowing the general prefferences of whoever was going to be at the party as well as his own likes and dislikes. The cart was more than a little full by now -- evidently there would be quite a lot of people at the party. Fortunately, this was the last stop in the grocery store part -- the only thing left was mistletoe. And ordering out some food, but that could wait til later. After years of throwing parties, he knew just how much food was consumed by a double diget amount of people -- and, as always, more people than expected would show up. It was only to be expected since those invited usually brought their "significant others" or friends or something.

[[orehtp90erht9erh cavities. Shin ******** cracks me up.]]

"Yeah, I'm ready," Haro murmured, his voice slightly muffled as he swung a scarf around his neck, making sure it covered his nose. The last time the two had been anywhere public Shin hadn't been exactly...receptive of the idea of being overly affectionate. Haro understood that...some places were more appropriate for kissing and stuff, but he hadn't even wanted a hug so it was nice that he wanted to hold his hand this time around. The tiger made him feel a little nervous inside, all jumpy and scary, but it wasn't because Shin was a tiger, or because his eyes were so icy blue it sometimes hurt to look at them too long... It was because he loved him and knew that Shin really loved him back. It was sort of scary, being so utterly in love with someone...because what if something happened? What if Shin stopped loving him, or if...something or someone hurt Shin? What if Haro had to leave? What if Shin's family didn't like him and didn't like that Shin cared for a boy as much as he did?

It was scary because Haro could never answer all those questions, and it scared him because Shin wouldn't answer those. He answered all his other ones, no matter how much he struggled with getting them out, Shin always answered him... Appearing only mildly troubled for just a moment, Haro looked up, his smile hidden behind a charcoal colored scarf as he held out a mitten-covered hand.

It really had been some time since he had driven -- and the first time that he had ever driven Haro anywhere. He didn't know if the boy would be scared or what since he wasn't sure how often the boy had been driven or if being in the car would bring up memories of Wei or something unfortunate, but... but he couldn't just force himself or the boy to walk through the snow and the cold all the way into the city main, or at the very least to a bus or train station to get there. Besides, wasn't he being too paranoid? Just because he hadn't taken Haro in the car before didn't mean the boy had experienced any sort of trauma there or that Haro would be scared or... something. He really did worry too much, didn't he?

And so they were off, Shin being extra careful because of the ice and all. He was a very good, steady, and cautious driver -- always attentive because, especially in winter when the roads were slick with ice and snow, the smallest of things could cause an accident. He didn't want himself or the boy to get hurt.

At last he parked the car, unbuckled his seatbelt, and got out. They were at a pet shop -- Shin hadn't discriminated since he really didn't know any of them at all well. Once Haro had gotten out, he locked the doors. Smiling, he offered the boy his hand as they stepped inside, a blast of warm air enveloping as they moved out of the cold.

[[Yeah I know, I just don't know how I pressed that, whatev. I changed it back to normal but I forgot to edit my post.]]

"I want these," Wei mumbled, picking up a box haphazardly, only to find out he had picked up a box of chocolate fortune cookies. Hopefully they didn't have those stupid fortunes like, 'you are almost there.' ******** almost where, you damn cookie!? That is what he would say if he ever got that one again.

[[Wei inspires me so. [/sarcasm]]]

"Eee~ weirdo.... do you always pick up this much random crap or are you just out of it today?" he asked as he took the box and set it in his shopping cart. "Alright, just the mistletoe left and we can go pick up Liao in the book section.... I'm gonna go to my apartment. You can drop me off or stay and help if you want...." he said rather carelessly. Knowing Wei, the man probably wouldn't be any help; he would either leave or stay for other motives -- motives which certainly wouldn't allow Ea to get any work done.

"Yes, aliens love carrots. They're quite similar to rabbits, actually. No body really knows, but they have HUGE ears." As he said huge he gestured an incredible length, just like some old man telling an "it was this big!" fish story. He had long hands, with nimble fingers that looked like they could stroke a note out of any instrument. He had been born with agility, he just seemed like he had been graceful all his life. He never stumbled when walking, or stuttered when speaking. However, he did often get so busy he forgot to eat and that would cause his hands to shake, and, if things went on too long, his entire body. He was much better about remembering things now that he didn't have constant pressure, practice and people around him. Life was much easier this way.

((Haha. Last night, I overheard a dad keeping beer away from his daughter saying it was "Daddy's juice." I felt like such a geek cuz I wanted so badly to yell out "euphemism!" x3;;;;; ))

"That's amazing," Sebastien said, his bright eyes wide. If it hadn't been for the eagerness in his eyes, one might have thought that he was actually serious due to his expression. "Are they furry, then? Most people think they're slimy, but I saw a picture of one once that had very long, thick fur -- kind of like a cockerspaniel." Sebastien grinned and sat back in the seat -- or as back as he could since, although he was small, it was a very tight fit on the couch. There were just too many people. "But, then, do they also like cabbage? And lettuce? Or just carrots?" the boy questioned. There was a certain glimmering to his eyes -- a childish glee and excitement that was quite overly rare among boys his age.

[[Oh my god! What a horrible euphemism! I would have laughed my a** off. XD ]]

He felt a little childish discussing such a topic, but it delighted Roux.
"They have super-long hair, like Sasquatch. Maybe Sasquatch is really an alien. Or cocker spaniels are. They always did seem weird to me."
With Sebastien squirming, it was harder to concentrate. They kept accidentally brushing against one another. He didn't mind, naturally, but the blonde seemed to.

It wasn't that Roux made Sebastien squirmish -- the boy simply needed to always be on the move. He didn't have any sort of disorder or anything -- he just liked to be always active, always moving, his mind and body always busy with one thing or another. Sebastien, what with his small frame and incredible intellect, neither looked nor acted as if he were highly athletic. It was surprising to many, then, when the saw just how agile and fit the boy was. Well, he did have an active personality and he supposed that his physical state matched that.

As Roux spoke, pale eyes strayed off for a moment as they caught sight of something... something familiar. He perked up, obviously distracted, as the sound of the coffee shop doors' bells sounded, signalling that some several people had entered. From his expression, Sebastien had to know at least one of them -- which he did.

Grinning widely, the boy straightened up and raised a hand over his head, waving at the group. "Hollyyyy~!" he called, beaming. "Allen, Alex, Sammy!" He glanced back over to Roux, a slightly apologetic expression of his features for having ignored the man. He still looked excited, though. "These are some of my friends," he explained, looking quite pleased.

The group had, by then, made their way to the table and Sebastien stood up. One girl immidiately detatched herself from the others to fling her arms around Sebastien's neck. "Sebbyboy, my love, you didn't say you were coming to the mall!" she squeeled rather excitedly. She had bright orange hair -- obviously died by the impossible brightness and color of it though what her original color was it was impossible to tell -- that was a bit shorter than shoulder length and an equally bright smile.

"Hey, guys! This is Roux, I met him today," Sebastien said, smiling as he gestured back at the man. Holly looked the older male over, blue eyes studying him thuroughly before she concluded, "You're hot. I like you. But Sebbyboy is my lover, 'kay? So don't try to steal him." She grinned and winked at the man while Sebastien rolled his eyes.

"So, yeah, that's Holly," he said, gesturing to the girl, "and Allen and Alex and Sam, but she goes by Sammy." He motioned to each of them in turn and they all said something polite -- they were all obviously nowhere near as hyper as Holly.

Roux had stood by the time the orange-haired girl spoke to him. When she said he was 'hot' his eyes widened and he blushed, just barely though. When did people just start saying 'you're hot' to each other? Dear god, what did you say to that?
Confused by the girl, he smiled politely at the others but didn't say much. Who were these people, and why were they interrupting his get-to-know-you time with Sebastien. Bah. Well, know one and you know all of the friends. Every person came with additions.

((best thing EVAR. And his friends got introduced because I was bored with short posts and I <3 Holly. And most people don't just go out and say it, but she does.... 8D;; ))

"Hoooolly," Sebastien said, brow furrowed. "You're making him uncomfortable. I thought we told you not to do that any more." Holly rolled her eyes, made a mock-pout, and then resumed her grin. "Ehhhhh... whatever. I don't care and you know that, don't you, Sebbyboy?" He had unravelled her arms from the other's neck and now stood rocking back and forth on her own feet, eyes darting up and down Roux for a moment before she glanced back at her friends with a grin.

"Hey, guys, if we don't leave soon then this stranger's gonna get mad because he won't be able to pick up our little blondie," Holly chirped, bright eyes glancing back over to Roux to see his reaction.

As for Sebastien, a bright blush had colored his cheeks. "Gehh--!! Holly, stop being a moron! He's not trying to do that at all! Anyway, he's a guy," the boy said in a slightly exasperated voice -- as if this were all the evidence he needed to say that Roux wouldn't try to hit on him. Well, Sebastien had quite a lot to learn, didn't he?
PostPosted: Sun Dec 09, 2007 8:53 pm

"Stranger?" He raised a brow. "My name s Roux, and I know your name is Holly, so that makes us not-stranger," he said, nodding sagely. He cocked his head a little to the side at her picking up Sebastien comment. She was quite a blunt thing, wasn't she?
The dark-haired man nearly burst out laughing when Sebastien said that, but he managed to change it into a cough. he even had the sense to cover his mouth for the fakup, he was. But that didn't mean Sebastien didn't like him. They had a kind of energy going, and Roux knew it.

Holly rolled her eyes, grinning. "Oh, Sebby, you're so naive -- you're really the perfect catcher*, you know that?" Bright blue eyes then moved to fix on Roux. "And so-totally-not-a-stranger-Roux here is totally the batter." Sebastien looked quite confused at this, but Sammy giggled, one hand raised to cover her mouth. Allen and Alex also seemed to know what this meant and they looked a bit... embarrassed, but they grinned all the same.

"She's right," one of the boy's -- Alex -- chimed in, one hand raising to brush back soft, shiny black hair from his eyes. His hair was short and slightly wavy and he had one of those faces that just sent girls into streams of fantasy. "You're totally catcher and you know it, Seb," he said, grinning. Allen nodded and Sam giggled again, her face colored with a bright blush.

Holly winked over at Roux. She obviously knew that the man was interested -- and that many before him had been as well -- and she didn't seem to be trying to deter him. "Well anyway," she said with a grin. "I s'pose we'd better leave you two love birds and buy our coffee. We're heading off for a study session at Kev's -- we're gonna do the Lit. homework. But you already did it, right? That's why you're a spoil sport." She grinned and left, her friends following, leaving a thuroughly confused Sebastien in her wake.

He glanced up at Roux, a small flush on his cheeks, and asked, "Do you know what they meant by 'catcher'....?"

((*the Korean term for uke. I like these better [batter and catcher] but hardly anyone uses them outside Korea. 8D;;;;; ))
