Maverick blinked as he looked at her. he was amazed... 60 years and she looked so... amazing "thats it? Oomizu? Why would something like that make me not like you? First of all experiments is the only way technology advances. secondly.. you look amazing for a woman your age" of course he figured woman cause he figured that at that age. she might of already crossed that line... but then again... was it possible for her to still be innocent? he smiled softly to her "60 years? wow... i bet you had alot of guys swooning over you Oomizu i mean look at how good you look... so... mind if i ask how many boyfriends you have had?... i bet one of them or so was alot better then me..." he sighed looking down.

Oomizu continued to look down. "Well, technically I should be about 60, but I'm more around mid-20s since time travels differently in the worlds I have been in... And I look so young because the gods of Quasar granted my a lot friends and family immortality so that we wouldn't age after 18 along with another gift... Which is what's really been making me afraid that you'll hate or fear me..."

Maverick was a bit confused. So she was more 25ish? that isnt so bad... but she avoided the boyfriend question... he guessed she just didnt want to talk about it.... "Well, i dont mind your first secret trust me i wont be bothered by your other one Oomizu" he smiled "So you can tell me"

Scout explained the rules of the game, making sure to say everything he had said to Croix just in case he had the same questions. He then waited for either Sirius or Eliza to answer if they would join or not.
Oomizu closed her eyes before looking up to Maverick for the first time since she had started admitting all of this. "I was given the power over death by Emmett, and I have used it before. The last guy I dated was in my godfather's world, and I had been forced to use it because while out on a date were were attacked by some thug... The next day, I found a letter written to me about how he wouldn't tell any one, but how he never wanted to see me again... Whether you still like me or not, promise not to utter a word of this to any one..."

Alucard had arrived to the baseball game. He stood quietly behind Sirius and grinned, "Baseball? The American sport? I would like to participate, if there is a open position of course." the vampire invited himself to join the game. He must have looked rather strange. The vampire was tall, he wore a black suit, red overcoat, and orange sunglasses. Alucard had never played the game, but he gathered that it would be easy. The vampire could stand in the outfield and catch any ball that came out through shape shifting... unless powers were off limits. Either way, the game had never sounded challenging to him.

Maverick held on to her hands and looked deep into her eyes "Oomizu. i have been surrouned by death my whole life, i do not fear it any more Oomizu... so for that matter, i wont let the power of death keep me away from the most wonderful girl i have ever met.... Oomizu i accept you no matter what. and i would like to be by your side so that you never have to face this world alone anymore" he told her sincerely "... of course that is if you want me to....."

Scout was so proud. Two people in one try! Although, Sirius's question confused him. "You bet! Glad ta have ya join! Techniques? Uh, I haven't hearn no rules 'gainst techs, so I guess they aren't..." Eh, who cares! They would be introducing baseball to Quasar! How cool was that? He turned to Eliza and waited for her say if she would join and ake it three with minimal effort.
Oomizu felt a huge relief and instantly felt her spirits lifted hearing him tell her he wanted her to be with him. Her eyes filled with teas as a small smile crept onto her face before she hugged him tightly.

Maverick blushed lightly as Oomizu hugged him he slowly wrapped his arms around her and held her close. he looked down as he noticed the tears "I hope that any and every tear you cry Oomizu are tears of joy" he told her still holding her close. "So... do you accept my offer of becoming a couple Oomizu?" he asked her gently

Scout thought a moment before nodding. "Yeah, that would. Al'ight, no powers or weapons, then. It'd be unfair ta those who don't have any..."
Oomizu looked up to him and smiled. "Yes they are, because I'm so happy that you accept me. Of course I'll be your girlfriend, Maverick."

Maverick smiled as he held her close once again happy to hear those words come out of her lips. it almost felt like he was dreaming. here he was with a girl beautiful beyond compare, and now he was offically dating her. the first step in perhaps making a wonderful life together with children and everything that came from it. "Thank you Oomizu. for accepting me as well" he whispered softly
