Umemi was very pleased with that suggestion as she hadn't been to the ocean in a long time "excelent idea my girl, I shall make plans and get back to you all on when we are leaving for those of you who wish to stay here instead feel free, you needn't worry about working for that time as we are on holidays as of now as I feel that there is too much stress placed upon my girls" Umemi smiled at them all.

Kitsune_Fox As Tohru was walking to her room, she heard Tora's voice upset and another geisha comforting her. She carried some flowers from the garden in her hand and looked at tem. Smiling, she knocked on the door. "Tora-onee-sama, may I have a moment?" "Oh, Tohru, hello," Tora smiled weakly. She sat up in bed and wiped her eyes. "Please, come in." Just then, mother came in and asked if everyone would like to take a vacation to the beach. She heard Omny wanted to go, so that led Tora to the answer of no. "I'm sorry Mother, I'd like to stay here. I can take care of the Okiya while you are gone," she smiled. Tora patted the spot next to her for Tohru to sit down.

Tohru sat down next to Tora after bowing to Okaa-san. "While that sounds simply beautiful, Okaa-san, may I stay here and help assist Tora-onee-sama? I'm not a very good swimmer," she explained hiding the flowers for Tora behind her.
Tohru could sense great grief in Tora, and by the way she decline so quickly she had a feeling she wanted to avoid Omny.
She waited for the room the clear out before she would give Tora-onee-sama the flowers to hopefully cheer her up.

Seeing Tora look so sad, Tohru couldn't stand it anymore. She clasped Tora's hands in her lap and presented her bouquet of hand-picked flowers.
"Tora-onee-sama, I picked these and thought they'd look lovely in your room. Please accept them," she said bowing a little while sitting.

Omny smiled seeing OKaa-san take her comment into the consideration. She quickly hurried back into the maiko quartersand closed the door. Preparing herself. After about half an hour latter Omny walked down the hall to Okaa-san's bedroom " Okaa-san?" she asked slightly opening the door.

Tora smiled at Tohru. "Thank you sweet heart," she said. Tora took the flowers. Jasmines. She smelled them, and it was as if burdon had lifted from her heart. She hugged Tohru.

Tohru smiled and hugged Tora back. She was glad to have helped her. "Are you all right, Onee-sama?"

"I'm not sure," Tora admitted. "My heart still longs for something... someone I know I can't have," she added, placing the flowers in a vase and putting them on her vanity. "I have a whole the size of Japan in my heart right now." She shook her head, "I don't believe it will ever be mended. I feel I'm doomed to walk all eternity in bitterness, sadness and hatred." Tora sat back on the bed and put her head in her hands. "It's just so hard," she said, letting tears fall.

Serena knew Tora was very sad and it pained her to see her that way.
"There are other fish in the see, Tora-chan!"Serena told her softly.

Tora smiled and hugged Serena. "Thank you," she said sadly. "I know there are others, but right now, because my whole Geisha carrer rested on the words of Shagatsu, I feel like I have nothing to look forward to," she said crying.
