"You'd think it best, but the heating is failing, it's been pretty cold in here recently, sometiems as cold as outside. It'll be better for him to be in a house with proper heating. It might take from a few days to a week or two, depending on how bad the disease has got or how his immune system is." He explained softly, watching the two.

Emmett nodded. " Thank you for looking at him, I...he didn't tell me he wasn't feeling well, but it seems others knew." He sighed and shook his head somewhere along the line he'd failed with Jaden. This was the second time he hadn't noticed something was wrong.

Alice went over to him, and put a hand on his shoulder. "Would you like to talk about it? get it off your chest?" He asked softly and kindly, seriously offering help if he needed it.

" I just feel so stupid he's always so happy but i wouldn't even know if thats an act." He bowwed his head. " You know i never even realised he twitched or acted like he need to be accepted. And now he so sick and I didn't even noticed that he wasn't well or that he wasn't full of energy. What kind of parent am i?"

Alice smiled. "You probably ignored the twitching thinking it's just personality, or as a mother you'd overlook the imperfections from being biased. As for the illness, it's not your fault you couldn't see it, not everyone can tell that someones sick unless they was told. Please don't feel guilty for it. The thing that prooves your still a great parent, is that you care now that you know, and you're trying to help your son the best you can."

Emmett nodded but he wanted to so much more for his son. He rubbed his back and closed his eyes sighing. " I was to cought up in trying to find away for ruben to get the help he needs." Stuffing the medicine into his pocket he didn't notice Jaden start to wake up.
His blue eyes looked figgy but he whimpered and tried to get the blankets off him, he was so hot he wanted them off but they wouldn't move.

"It must be hard.. trying to cope with bother children with problems of their own." He smiled softly. "Next time you see Ruben, by the way, I'm sure he'll be more than happy to inform you of his name. He just learnt it recently, and has been telling everyone he meet's so far. Bless his heart, but at least he's figuring out how to say things. Even one at a time."
He turned to the stirring Jaden. "Hey.. you awake now. Don't move too much okay, it'll wear you out." He said softly, before getting a cool cloth and putting it on the cat/demon's forhead.

Emmett smiled, he loved both his kids very much and was very proud of them. He looked at jaden seeing him looking around. " Hi baby, stay still okay."
Jaden blinked and looked around sighing as the cool cloth was placed on his fore head. " Alice?" he couldn't figure out why Alice would be in his room...unless he wasn't in his room.

ALice smiled at him, and waved. "Hey kiddo. Your mom got worried and brought you to see me. Just as well he did really. You needed help." He said softly to him, sitting down in the chair by the bed.

Blinking he tried to sit up again but hadn't managed to. " Why, I'm fine." He coughed and layed back down with a sigh...okay so maybe he wasn't fine.

Alice still smiled. "You're sick, Jaden. It's a raver bad illness too, you need to rest if you're to recover." He explained softly, watching him.

"A cold with nast side effects. Jaden, if you get out of bed and go outside it could kill you. A cold dosn't do that." He said, somewhat more seriously. He didn't want Jaden to go and die now.

" I went outside the other day an im fine." He coughed heavily and sat up, causeing the cloth to fall into his lap he grabbed it with shaky hands. Looking around he went to stand out.
"Jaden lay down your to sick to get up and walk around, im going to call Kyan to pick us up so your not out in the cold." Emmett said looking stern he wouldn't lose his son.
"I'll stay in side i want to visit someone while im here , I can do that right?" he asked looking from his mom to Alice he had a feeling they'd tell him to lay back down.
(( Dorian was mean to him but yes im pretty sure thats the bunny.))

Alice looked unsure, but got a coat out of the cupbaord, it was a very fluffy and warm one. "I know you're feeling hot, but wear this and keep away from the west wing, there's been some damage and the asylum is very unstable up there. Don't be too long, i want you back here in an hour or else you might be too weak to get back on your own." HE said, putting the coat on JAden.
