Azhren DysFUNKtional Duck Azhren DysFUNKtional Duck Fenny, Pez, and I had a long-distance meeting about the MiniCon and we all agreed on a 'Gods' theme. Because of time constraints, I'll give all you guys ten days to object, if you think you have a better idea. After that, it'll be our official theme for MiniCon2011. ^_^ I OBJECT! scream cuz i like conflict ninja Says the kid who got me to turn down a girl for him, in high school, because he was too scared to confront her. whee who? wuzzat sam?? well everyone was scared of her. that doesnt count ninja ... She's a preppy, hyperactive, 5ft tall, girly girl. stare

I only wish I could go crying Don't give up hope yet! crying It's just a weekend, so you'd only have to take one day off of work! 3nodding I'm sorry crying there's just no way I can afford the trip, plus I literally don't have any time off work till next february lol (pending illness of course) Ew! gonk What kind of job do you have, that you don't get any vacation time?

DysFUNKtional Duck DATEThe initial time frame usually considered is mid-June to mid-August. Here's a full list of potential dates. June 16-20
June 23-27
June 30-Jul 4
July 7-11
July 14-18
July 21-25
July 28-Aug 1
August 4-8
August 11-15August would be awfully hot and due to late planning, June would probably be a little too soon. The first weekend of July wouldn't work, because I'd imagine most of us will have plans for the 4th of July. So I'd recommend the 7th to the 25th, as the time frame to aim for. If anyone already has anything major planned (like a vacation or something) let me know when. We want to be able to include as many people as possible, so we'll work around everyone's schedule. We'll also need to figure out whether we want a Thursday to Sunday con or a Friday to Monday con. But that will come after we've chosen a date and location.

Well, considering it will be May in just over a week, any time in June is definitely too soon. (Not too mention, June is always crazy busy for me.)
And July 28th - August 1st is no good for me. Other than that, my summer schedule is pretty flexible right now.
Are there any dates that you guys know for sure you can't do?

Well, I get 2 weeks of vacation after I've been there for a year, and we get 9 paid holidays so I get all the major holidays off. I just cant take any other time off right now. P.S.
