Well I'm just lucky my body did fill in like that.
I was going to make a joke but then it just sounded awkward, so I decided against it.
Today was a good day. I had my World Civ essay test today and I totally kicked a**. Also I asked out a girl and didn't get shot down! In fact, that part was so awesome, I'll tell you how it happened!
In other news, my life continues to be a movie cliche. So I've been meaning to ask out this girl in my English class for pretty much the whole semester but never got up the courage. So today was the last day of class, it was now or never basically. She finished her assignment a little earlier than I did so she left a minute or two earlier. I quickly scribbled down my answer and left. Now since it snowed, the entire campus is frozen over and she's at the bottom of the hill. I'm at the top going "How crap, I can't get down fast enough to catch her. If I run I'll fall." I look around and decide that theres no other option. I take a few steps back and then jump onto the hill, planning to slide down. And amazingly enough it works. As I'm sliding down I'm actually having a great time. Just as I'm reaching her, I lose my balance and flip backwards, landing on my back, I slide down and stop pretty much next to her.
Her: neutral
Me: Uh... Hey.
Her: Hey Matt. Are you okay?
Me: Yeah, I'm fine. Do you want to go out sometime?
Her: Because you fell down?
Me: Because it's the right thing to do.
Her: I...
Me: Also I may have a concussion.
Her: Heh, alright then.
Me: Woohoo- ow.
And thus Level_one sort of has a date. She gave me her phone number and for some reason her facebook address, teens these days and their facebooks and myspaces. Also, my back hurts. Totally worth it though.
Also, my name is Matt if you didn't figure that part out.
