Rogue crouched over one hand on her stomach, the other on the ground balancing her. A roar escaped her this time more like lion or some beast as her mind fought against itself.
Images flashed through Rogue's mind of victim after victim, life after life destroyed from uncontrollable bloodrage....then their memories came flooding through her mind. But the light...the light she could see now, but the bloodshed. She had no conscience. She was a heartless killer.
Why didn't she kill Lydia long ago? Why did she even care?
The diamond is too strong... Another roar escaped her...

Rikku narrowly avoided the swipes at her face, while ducking and taking a quick and strong stab at Neko with one of Rikku's knives, going for the chest area that was exposed by Neko's slashing arms. Rikku was determined not to lose her footing.
She heard Rogue's words in her mind...though it wasn't quite directed anywhere, she heard because of the connection the Elders shared, as well as the stronger connection with the diamond.
Get her out of your mind...

Kuro watched as Neko swiped at Rikku, waiting for the right opportunity. As soon as Rikku tried to stab Neko shadow figures jumped out of the ground and grabbed Rikku, pulling her back away from Neko. At the same time Kuro threw a few throwing knives past Neko towards Rikku. He then sank into the ground

Alexz watched as Neko and Kuro ganged up on Rikku, her eyes narrowing on the scene. Closing her eyes, she pulled Kuro's shadows from Rikku using her powers. Opening her eyes and throwing out her hand, she interrupted the the path of flying knives, unable to catch one or two, and brought them to her hand.
((Tell me if you want me to change anything.))

A knife landed itself in Rikku's side, another knife narrowly missed. She hissed in pain, and then the shadows disappeared at Alexz's doing. Rikku ripped the knife from her side quickly and jabbed with a knife in each hand at Neko.
She spoke to Alexz then through her mind. Get Kuro away from me...and help Rogue...I don't know what's happening to her....

"You are only mortal.." he reminded him, keeping his feet placed firm and swerving his body to the sides, leaving nothing but air for the axe to slice. He took a leap backwards, avoiding an uppercut. "I know what you're doing" he said with a simple smile. "Trying to keep me out of the fight.." He glanced towards Rikku, hit with a dagger. Was he the only competent Vampire here!? He clenched his fists in anger.
A look of annoyance spread across his face as William reached again for guns and shot. A flashbang went off, he had missed the laying of such a underhanded trap! He lifted his arms in front of his eyes to shield them as numerous bullets sped towards him, and flung himself back, letting out a yell of pain as though hit by the a few. He landed in the deep shadows of a nearby corner and could not be seen. He grinned, feeling the bulletmarks on the wall behind where he was standing, and melted, unseen into the ground.

'Gotta hurry...' Krii'Ouse said aloud, leaping roof to roof through the city. He'd parked the car half a mile away, to keep it from getting damaged. 'Will's in danger.' Sethe slipped on a piece of metal on one of the roofs, but caught his balance very quickly, needing to get to the docks to help Will.
Another minute later and he would come upon the battle. Drawing his daywalker daisho, the runes blazed on the sides of the blade, so much so that they lit the obsidian-bladed blades on fire. Landing with some debris chipping upwards, he looked around, assessing the situation. Then, he noticed Will.
The Omega Hunter rushed to the Alpha Hunter. Sliding across the ground next to his brother, he backed up back to back with him. 'Hey, I made it just in time for the party, huh? What the ******** happening here?'

Kerrigan slid to a halt on one of the roof tops overlooking the docks. She could see what was going on beneath her, but was not really sure what she could do to help. For now, she would wait. if things got ugly, one could bet that she would be the first one in the line of fire. Seemed like the elders were slipping away as well as out of the corner of her eyes she saw Kyrre melt away in shadows.
"What is happening," she muttered softly to herself, crouching low to the roof she was on. This had to be connected to everything else that was going on in this city...she just knew it.

Will nearly snorted at Kyrre's words. Him, mortal? Hardly. While he was still human, he was also something more. You don't come back from the dead without being changed in some way, and Will was no different in this except that his changes were a little more pronounced than those caused by normal "near death" experiences. The vampire truly had no idea what he was dealing with.
As the flashbang's light faded Will opened his eyes and reached out to grab Hellbringer after dropping Truth and Mercy. Landing once more on the ground, he held the massive battleaxe in a classic ready position, eyes blazing with power as they surveyed the darkness. Kyrre was nowhere to be found. If the Elder had a control over shadow just as Will seemed to have a degree of control over light, then the vampire could come at him from any direction.
Then a presence was at his back, and the only thing that kept him from swinging on reflex was the quick realization that it was the familiar presence of his blood brother, Krii'Ouse. Back to back with his most trusted comrade, Will kept an eye out for Kyrre's return and counterattack. "Long story short, fighting practically all the vamp Elders together at once. I'm facing down Kyrre, but the bloodsucker's gone into the shadows. Lyds is playing mind games with Rogue, and Neko is facing down everybody else with Kuro's help. Go help Neko and Kuro, they're worn out and about ready to drop. I know you have issues with Tainted, but consider it to be an act of good faith on our part. I can handle Kyrre, or at least keep him tied up. Trust me, Krii. Now go, go, go!"
Taking a step forward, he let a little more power flow into him, bringing him to about sixty-three percent. He could feel his heart beating faster, his lungs working harder to bring in oxygen. The strain from using the power was increasing. The more he used and the longer he used it, the more damaged he'd be when he finally let it fade away. But for this fight, he needed it.
The shimmerings of light floating around him slowly coalesced into a glowing aura, covering his whole body in a paper thin coating of energy and causing him to shine. Reaching behind himself, he unholstered a squat, ugly little snub-nosed revolver with a barrel and chamber that looked like it took shotgun shells. Pointing it at the shadows nearest to where Kyrre had last been standing, he pulled the trigger and released a brilliantly burning flare. Turning around in a complete circle, he deposited flares in the other deep clusters of shadow and darkened hiding places that surrounded him, bathing the area in light. Dropping the flare gun as well, Will took Hellbringer into a two-handed ready position and slid his eyes hlafway closed, senses extended to their fullest as he waited for Kyrre to show himself again. He was prepared.

"What the ******** is going on here," she said with a grin, keeping her wits about her as much as she could. Her eyes scanned around her, making sure that there was nothing coming in her direction, but it seemed that everyone was already busy fighting other elders. Turning to glance at Will quickly before resuming her sweep of the area, she waited for him to tell her what he needed her to do. She knew that he could handle himself but also know Will good enough to know that he would tell her to go where she was needed. There was too much going on around here for her to be able to tell what was happening anyways.

{[{ Meredith Emily Jackson }]} Edith didn't move a muscle or an inch, not willing to expose Lydia to Rogue in any way that was possible. Upon hearing Rogue roar, she still refused to move though she evidently tensed upon hearing the beast-like roar come from the vampire elder. Edith kept her eyes on Rogue, waiting for any sign of movement from her to indicate that she was going to attack Lydia. If Rogue made any sudden movements toward Lydia, Edith would literally be at her throat and attempting to protect Lydia with the vampiric strength she possessed. If she couldn't go up against an elder on her own then she would gladly attempt to cover for possible weaknesses that friends of hers possessed while hopefully they made up for hers. She put faith and trust in her fellow hunters, which wasn't something that Edith gave easily any longer but she trusted the people here with her to watch her back so she watched theirs in turn.
Though she was extremely focused on Lydia behind her and Rogue in front of her, an upturning of the corners of her mouth was clearly evident when her lycan brother arrived and went back to back with her human brother. Good, he'd gotten her message and he'd hurried his a** up so that meant that her major part was finished and that she could ease up a tiny bit in the mental department where she worried about screwing up. Now she could solely focus on Rogue and Lydia without having to worry about whether or not Sethe would get her message and whether or not he would understand it. She was free to just keep herself right there between Lydia and Rogue in case the elder decided to go on some crazy blood frenzy and attempt to bite Lydia. More or less, Edith was posing as a shield for Lydia in case someone decided to strike her down while she was attempting to bust into Rogue's mind.
She was more than aware that the two demon elders were keeping one vampire elder at bay near the edge of the docks and that they were absolutely worn from the fight. The demons would need backup soon enough and she was positive that either Kerrigan or Sethe would be plenty willing to try and beat the s**t out of the elder. Of course, there was Will keeping the fresh vampire elder at bay and it worried her because he didn't have anyone backing him up and he was facing off against the vampire alone. She knew that he was the hunter leader and probably the second strongest hunter but it never kept her from worrying about him and praying for him. And last, apparently was a fourth vampire elder that'd left and had now returned to the scene to assist her fellow elders. Someone was going to have to take care of her but Edith chose to hold her ground and stick with Lydia though the psychic was doing fine on her own.
Though Sethe and Kerrigan had come as reinforcements, Edith couldn't help but wonder if Sethe had managed to contact the lycan elders so that they could come and help out. Seeing as they'd had a secret meeting with all of the races she was pretty confident that her brother had the resources he required in order to contact the lycan elders so they could come to their assistance. However, Edith was likely going to question whether or not the lycan elders were going to show up until she actually did see them in the flesh. One would think that the lycans would be the first here to attack the vampire elders but apparently they weren't so perhaps something was going down with the lycan pack. She certainly hoped there wasn't anything but one never knew when things in this city were randomly going to come up.

Tokeru chose this moment to come out of hiding. Peeling back the "layer" of bent light to reveal himself.
"facing me, death will rise to end lives. One dies, two are killed. The blood of the innocent shall flow if not succeeded. Vanquish."
With concentration greater than anything he had shown since his return, he stared down the vampire."
