She smiled and closed her eyes. She would enjoy their time away. yes she'd miss her girls and the cats but they'd be fine without them for a few days.

Soon enough the island was in sight and at the center of it was a large mansion like building. "Alright my dear, we're here" Ryu sends to her mentally as he begins to decend to a clearing next to the mansion.

After he was safely on the ground she slid off his neck and looked around. It was a nice place, quiet. The sea around them was beautiful and she loved to hear the sound of the ocean. "It's beautiful here."

Ryu would change back to human form and says "indeed it is, the sound of the ocean is so calming." he closes his eyes and breaths deeply, taking in the salty sea air, before grabing their bags and head inside.

She followed close behind him and looekd aroud their temporary home. It was smaller than the castle, more like a cottage than anything. BUt it was cozy and just big for someone like Ryu.

Ryu opened the door to there bed room and walked in. It was about two thirds as big as their bedroom back home, still quite big, and had a patio one could walk out onto with a view of the ocean from there.

Lyoko opened the patio doors to let some air into the room and sighed. "I like it here."

Ryu sets the bags down and walks up behind Lyoko, He wraps his arms around her waist and gives her a kiss on the cheek before saying "well it's all ours for the next few days."

She smiled and rested against him. "No castle problems, no girls, no pets, no worries." SHe leaned up and kissed him tenderly.

Ryu smiles and returns the kiss and says "yep, just three days of you me, and plenty of alone time." He then suddenly scoops her up and spins around, nuzzling her neck as he does so.

She laughed and held onto him tightly while he spun her around. WHen he finally put her down she swayed a little. "Okay, first rule, no making your wife dizzy."

Ryu chuckles some and says "sure thing my love." He then leads her to the bed so she can sit as he says "I'm gonna go check the kitchen and see about fixing us something to eat. What would you like to have?"

She smiled and relaxed. "Mmmm... pot roast sounds very good right now! Think you can pull it off?"

Ryu chuckles and says "I may have been raised by a royal, but I still went through grunt soldier training, which involved cooking out in the field, I think I can handle a pot roast." Once in the kitchen he gets the necessary cooking supplies and a large roast and begins to prepare it.

Lyoko sat at the counter and watched him start cooking. "My man has many talents." She mused.
