"Alright then!" Lavi exclaimed, lifting Luci from his lap as he stood up and gently placing her back down on the floor. "To the kitchens!" He pointed dramatically in the direction of their destination.

Kiah laughed at Lavi's over enthusiastic gesture, hopping out of her chair quickly. "Hey Luci, I bet I can beat you all there in a race!" she challenged, putting her hands on her hips and posing like a champion.

"Haha, yes it is!" Kiah took up position just outside the doorway and stood at an imaginary starting line, pretending to stretch right before the race. "Do you know where the kitchen is, Luci?" She smiled back at Liv, silently asking if she'd be joining in.

Kiah nodded to Liv and put one foot ahead on the starting line, spreading her legs like she was taking the race seriously. "Okay, on your mark... get set... GO!" She paused for a little while to let Luci get ahead of her.

Luci bolted for the kitchen, never looking back. She ran as fast as her feet could carry her, laughing as she sprinted down the hall.
Liv smiled at Kiah in return and followed the two at a regular pace.

Kiah easily kept pace with the girl, finding that her constant laughter was very contagious. She couldn't stop giggling as they got closer to the kitchen, slowing down enough to allow Luci to beat her by a landslide. "Oh, dang it!"

While Luci was sharp in some areas, she was still a kid, and didn't think for a second that Kiah had let her win. She threw her fist in the air and did a victory twirl, "I won I won!" she kept laughing and giggling before running to give Kiah a big hug around her hips, "That was so much fun Miss Kiah!"
Liv clapped as she made it to the kitchen behind them, "Good job, Luci~! Better luck next time Kiah," she smiled.

"Haha, congratulations, Luci!" Kiah cheered along with Liv. When Luci wrapped her arms around her hips in a hug she stumbled a bit in surprise, slowly patting her on the back uncomfortably in return. "Well, anytime you're up for a rematch, I'll be ready!"
"I'll have to train harder to compete with this kid... She's really quick on her feet!" she smiled knowingly to Liv and lead the way into the kitchen, "So what do we want to eat?"
