Oh, and something funny I forgot to pass on here: A few days ago, my law school had a speaker come in to talk about cloning and some of the legal/moral issues related to it deal with the law. Most of it was basic science things behind cloning that only turned towards legal issues at the very end. Somewhere in the middle, when it turned towards human cloning rather than stem cells and what they can/have been used for and where they come from. The lecturer started asking semi-rhetorical questions about taking a human clone to term. I wasn't paying that close of attention, but I remember him specifically asking something like why would someone choose to carry a clone child fully to term and right after he said that, the first answer that popped into my head, "Gator Food."
It was interesting, but didn't really talk about any of the real legal issues, just a lot of the moral ones.

Buddiesdotnet I'm not getting my expansion until December. emo I'd say that's somewhat of a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. Good in the fact a large amount of the chaos that is everyone going after the same mobs for the same quests will be gone and you can actually get quests done fast. But bad in the fact that the opposing faction (Alliance in my case) will have done alot, will probably be bored, and will gank at will. Right now, they just gank to try and steal mobs. They actually ganke me and cause me to get 2 quest involving elites done since I got both the kills and the loot from the mobs. Met those helpful alliance still there scratching their heads. One /hug, /lol, and /fart combo later and I was off on my merry way.

...geez, how'd you glue a sword to your finger?
Never mind that, WHY?
Also...on one hand I'm happy because I just did laundry and my favorite pair of jeans is clean. And I have coffee from the local Dunkin' Donuts.
I'll be able to finish off my homework, I think. Lol morning classes + slacking. emo

Quote: ...geez, how'd you glue a sword to your finger? Never mind that, WHY? Because the sword from this figure I got at Sakruacon broke and I tried to glue it back on and wasn't paying enough attention. I still didn't get it back on. NEVER MIND THE FACT THAT THERE WAS NO WAY IN HELL I COULD HAVE POSSIBLY PUT THAT SWORD IN HER DAMN HAND WITHOUT IT BREAKING! emo Stupid ******** story image figures....*grumble*

Blizzard has definitely re-structured their instances and raids and made them MUCH more accessible, for better or for worse. I think so far the agreement is that the storylines and map details of Northrend are amazing and so regardless of whether you start now or in December, you'll have tons of fun once you get there. ^_^

XD Also, I've got a friend I want to send an invite to. I knew her from another guild I ran a while ago and just ran into her again today on zOMG. Any objections? Is she cute? Well, both fortunately and unfortunately, I lack the superpower to see what people really look like through the internet, so for the moment, let's assume yes. XD Sure, why not then.

So, I'm reading One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest for English. The biggest thing I've gotten out of it so far is.. I think Half-Life 2 is based off of it.

XD Anyway, I'm a part of the Alliance on my main server. xD; And I'm not on a pvp server so I'm pretty safe. And yeah, I know what you mean about the chaos and stuff. >< My brother and I actually planned on not playing until like, 2 or 3 months later so we could get things done easily. :> Plus, the Alliance are stupid and don't do bg's unless they're max level so we'd be bored anyway. -.- ps: <3 the horde. I've never had a hordey do the stupid emotes one me out of bg's. >< Alliance on the other hand are stupid and love to do stupid things. gonk It embarrasses me as an ally. ;~;

So, more Law School stories.
So, it turns out present possessory estates and future interests is comedy gold, for some reason. XD
First, some basic info. This general topic in property is about giving away land for a time, then having it go to someone else after a certain condition. A Life Estate is legal possession of a land until the person who was granted the life estate dies. Then, depending on the grant, it either reverts to the person who originally gave the life estate or a third party. We've been discussing what kind of interest the third party/original grantor would have in the property that the life estate holder currently has. For third parties, the two options are remainder and executory interest. For it to be a remainder, one of the requirements is that it can't cut short the estate before it (which is a matter for things not life estate).
So, as I'm doing the reading yesterday, it gives us an example, of something like: A gives to B for life, then to C and heirs. And talks about how this is a remainder because there is no way C can cut B's estate short. When I read that, I wrote in the margin of my book, like with most of the serious notes I take, "Except..." (implied dramatic turn) "MURDER!"
And, when we're going over the same sorts of questions, the professor is using a lot of the people who sit behind me as his examples for the day. The hypothetical of that question was, "Colletta gives X to Kristal for life, then to Anna after Anna buries Kristal." Now, the correct answer here, was that Anna had an executory interest because another requirement of a remainder is that it is possible to gain possession right after the previous estate ends. In this hypothetical, there's a brief period of time between when Kristal dies and Anna buries her that Anna could not claim the property in. So, right after a student (me) answers incorrectly, and he explains this, another person in the back of the room raises his hand and asks the question everyone was thinking. "But what if Anna buries Kristal while she's alive?"
After class, we decided that if that happened, it wouldn't matter what the remainder was, Anna'd be going to jail.
Also worth noting is that the professor several times used "to Anna and heirs if Anna marries Joe" (the guy who sits next to her). This is funny, because in our smaller section of property, I think that Anna is the only person who is already married, and yet got picked for this hypothetical. XD

Newspaper Robbery assault: At 8 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a report that a 19-year-old man walking by Delaware and Telegraph streets was beaten and robbed of his cell phone and groceries he was carrying by two men asking for change and beer. When he refused, the two men got out of a parked car, possibly a four-door, 1980s blue or gray Honda or Acura and assaulted him, according to the report. He was taken to St. Joseph's Medical Center for swelling to his face They got it all wrong, I'm not 19! mad
