She looked up, "Uhm, I have not found a teacher, so I don't know if I could be called a student, and I don't know what you would call new, so I don't know how to answer that question." She looked at him, "I do not know you, who are you?" She asked, she was still fidgeting, rubbing her hand in a nervous habit.

"Have not found a teacher...have you chosen an element? Without that, you really can't have a teacher because no one will know what to teach you." He took a step forward, approaching her. "If you're not a teacher, you're a student. Or maybe an ally. And as far as I go, my name is KenoTao." He grabbed her hands arrogantly, but gently, trying to soother her nervousness. "And yours?"

"My name is Nova, my element, Shadows." She said, she pulled her hands back, "Sorry if it is annoying, nervous habit." She stated, she cracked her fingers then folded her hands, trying to stop. She lifted a bandaged hand, the bandages were losing there dark color from her habit. "What is your element, KenoTao?"

"Rai," he answered softly, hoping to ease her discomfort. "And if you're a shadow, I think that closely relates to Yami. That means that woman...I saw her fighting...is the new Sensei. She already has quite a lineup of students. I warn you...they're a bit fierce. One is even a bit arrogant." He smiled at her calmly before raising his hand to her cheeks, retreating them quickly. "Why are you bandaged?"

"Hm," She scoffed, "The bandages, I always am, my whole body is bandaged," She lifted her arms, the bandages ran across her whole body, blakc and dark dark purple. "I don't care if they are fierce, I'v had worse." She said, placing her hands and arms down. "New Sensei? How long was I gone, not that long? That whole time, and I still can't find Yosito." She scoffed to herself. She looked at Keno, "Are you a new student?" She asked as she stood up from the wall.

"I suppose that's the best way to describe me, yes," he smiled. "And the new Sensei...is only a few days moved into the position. There isn't much to worry about. But, if you don't mind, for what reason are you always bandaged...you are either cursed, injured, or these are some form of weapon?" He leaned against the wall, to her right, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Well, I hope that I am not injured soe often as to were badages at all time." She joked, "It is no weapon, and.. cursed." She stopped, lost in thought. "I don't know. When I first got here, some one asked me why I wore bandages, the closest thing I can think of is that, I am hiding." She finished.

"I see no reason for you to hide." He smirked yet again as he bowed his head in thought. "A woman with a voice such as yours does not sound as though she would need to hide any of her away from us. But then again, there are many things we do not want to reveal. Sometimes, the body takes sacrifice for the mind or the soul. Does your past haunt you, or are you just...comfortable with your covered flesh?"

"I hide from myself, just as much as I hide from others. My body is covered in scars that brings only memmories of which would be better to forget, and people ask more questions abouts scars than they do my strange appearance." She stated, "Haunted past, sure as hell." She smirked. "And many more."

"You must have more scars than myself," he responds to her. Extending his arms, he reveals the scars that course from his wrist all the way into the sleeves, which he does not bother to pull up. They look so much like stripes it's odd. "Arms, back, legs, neck, even my face. Though my face has lighter markings." He put his arms to rest at his sides.
"But these, technically, are only one scar. It's mark makes my whole body a memory, my bloodiest. I sympathize that you have so many haunted memories on your own. You don't deserve it I'm sure. But if you don't mind, would you mind showing me which of those scars haunts you most? Or would that be....out of place?"

"No, I don't mind." She placed a hand at the mask covering the bottem half of her face, she pulled it down, there were scars along the bottem of her face and some others along her neck, they were in all directions, all different pressure scars, she pulled it down untill her neck was fully visable. "That one." Even though there were many scars on her neck it was easy to see which one she was talkign about, it was a scar that stood out even on her pale skin, it was six inches long and ran right along her center neck, it must have been a deep cut to leave a scar that looked so new even if it was so old. She pulled her mask back up, and tightened it on her face, "Even if you dont think the scar is that bad, it holds a memory, one of my worst." She said, "And belive me, by now, I know I deserve it."

"The severity of a scar is not measured by its boldness, its length, nor its width. Memories are not tangibly measure my dear as you so very well know. I do not judge a scar...your scar...as any less severe than my own." His face was very serious as he said this. This matter wasn't a funny one to him. Not in the least. "But perhaps you can come to terms with the beauty underneath those scars someday."

"Beauty, Ha!" She scoffed, "The only beauty left was broken not to long ago. My body lost its beauty after fights and deaths, my soul, if one like I can truely have a soul, is nothing any more. Beauty is a stupid thing, it get no one anywhere, usless." She snapped, she started up her habit again, "You talk like this is serious, are you mocking me?"

"I mock you not, though if you would rather, we could speak of different things." His hands buried themselves into his pockets as he thought it best to leave the subject alone. "You mentioned earlier that you've been gone for some time. Are you a genin still?"

"Genin here, yes. Where I have been before, no. I never am happy with what I have, because I am never have control, I travel from Dojo to Dojo to build up in each ones ranks. So here, yes, I am genin. I am assuming you are also genin, am I wrong?" She asked, walking over to one of the Dojo's sofas.
