Kiah took his hand gratefully and hopped up next to him, walking towards the Order. After a few steps, she lightly smacked a hand to her face, running back around the tree and grabbing her shoes before rushing back to her original place.
“... I wonder if anyone noticed we were gone so long...,” she wondered out loud, hoping that he who shall not be named wasn’t waiting at the door for her.

He was completely oblivious to there being any reason they shouldn't want people to think they had been out together all day. He had forgotten about what the ice cream man had said, insinuating they were a couple or were on some kind of date.

I’m pretty sure I was “Lavi’s girl” for awhile...,” Kiah scowled at that, remembering that she was sick of hearing it after the first few days. Her cheeks heated up thinking about what kind of things they might come up with if anyone spotted her and Kanda coming back together.
“Or someone might think I went by myself and be worried that I’m dead right now,” she said casually, shrugging a bit.

He frowned at her words, and then everything clicked again as his eyes widened.
"Oh.."
What she said about the rumors was true, but he couldn't help thinking that it wouldn't be the worst rumor in the world.
"We know the truth, so what they believe doesn't matter. They only want something to talk about."
He scowled at the thought of it, how they were all suckers for gossip. It was pathetic when he really thought about it. Someone should teach them a lesson.
"Maybe we should give them just that."

(( Jack: The bullying issue is really terrible. The lack of concern is awful. I'm really sorry you have teachers that refuse to do anything about it. Even the principal will do nothing? Do you have a police officer at your school? If the teachers won't help, the school officers will usually help, I've found at least. ))

(( Jack: That is absolutely ridiculous... teachers are supposed to be there to HELP. That's what frustrates me the most... Have you tried counselors too? Sometimes they can help too... though an officer would probably be best... ))

Thinking on his previous words, she paused and blushed a little, wondering, “Unless you were talking about... using today to trick them...?” She didn’t explain any further, not sure if that was what he meant.

((We don't have any counselors nor are there any police officers nearby. The teachers do try, you see; it's just they don't try hard enough to prevent stuff like this. ******** this school, man...))
