Well, I've decided to give Toradora, Hyakko, and Index a try from the list that Stream gave. I'm also going to look into Chaos; Head and Tytania. I'll post my impressions when I've actually seen them.
And PG, of those Stream mentioned to you, I'm seconding both Kuroshitsuji and Soul Eater. I just caught up on Soul Eater a few days ago and I can't wait for the next episode now. XD

Zelyhon Well, I've decided to give Toradora, Hyakko, and Index a try from the list that Stream gave. I'm also going to look into Chaos; Head and Tytania. I'll post my impressions when I've actually seen them. And PG, of those Stream mentioned to you, I'm seconding both Kuroshitsuji and Soul Eater. I just caught up on Soul Eater a few days ago and I can't wait for the next episode now. XD Chaos; Head is serious WTF. I'm waiting til I have a better handle on it to form an opinion... other than the facts that the main character is delusional and there are murders going on, I didn't get much from the first ep. Soul Eater is such a fun goddamn show... and the little (and not so little) insanities of the cast are ******** epic hilarity. Oh, and Tsubaki is love... Patty is also love, but definitely of a crazed, stalkerish bent.

Girl pants are so 2007. talk2hand (Randomly: Every time I see your "Girl Pants" banner, I keep thinking it says "Girl PARTS." More randomly, I actually do have a couple of pairs of fairly slim-leg jeans. Not girl jeans - I'm 6'4"; no way in hell I could find a pair of girl pants long enough - but yeah.) Stream: Oh Jesus. I'm still doing remedial anime watching. gonk Now all that s**t sounds amazing. To be fair, I actually don't wear women's jeans since I discovered the Levi 511. cool

Yeah, that's more or less my opinion of Chaos; Head. From what some people said, I was expecting something a little different, but I'm going to stick with it for at least two more episodes to see if it actually starts drawing me in. Although, the opening made it seem much more like Shounen action and less like horror mystery.
Tytania, I liked the first episode of, even though the sub group I got was crap. Seems like it'll end up being an entertaining epic space opera series. Plus, the main character has Kamina's voice, which is always a plus.
What fun would a shounen show cast be without the insanities? XD I really like all the major characters so far. I have to say that Kid, Liz, and Patty are definitely my favorites so far.
Well, of the main three student groups, that is. Stein and his delightful insanity trumps all of them. Can't wait to see him use Marie in a fight.

The bit where Spirit decided that his only chance of remaining at Shibusen was to become a janitor was good too... especially when they were all forced to line up and march to see Shinigami (who is one awesome reaper in both of his forms... one badass and the other pure hilarity... "S'up?")

So, I finally finished watching Slayers Revolution. I enjoyed it, but the way they ended it makes me think that more episodes are planned. They didn't even fully wrap up the storyline that was originally introduced.
Still, right now it looks like there's only 13 episodes out, so I'll just have to wait. Hell, I had to wait almost 10 years between Slayers Try and Slayers Revolution... xd

Hell, I had to wait almost 10 years between Slayers Try and Slayers Revolution... xd There ARE more episodes on the way. From the sounds of it, we're either getting another 26 episodes, or two different 26 episode Slayers series. I'm not sure which it is, because the way ANN worded it was really...odd. They just haven't said when the new episodes will start...I'm thinking probably during the winter season though. If that helps any? sweatdrop

"S'up?") Spirit's some great comic relief whenever he shows up. XD Y'know, I can't really think of any characters in Soul Eater that I actually dislike. Even Black Star, who annoyed me at first, has managed to become more than his first episode would have implied.
