"He is very busy," Mishka chuckled at her wonderment, realizing how vast and complex the ideology of religion could be when explained to children. If he thought back himself it all seemed like one big fairy tale that taught him important lessons about life and being a good person. It was comforting to believe that there was someone, somewhere who watched over him and cared about the state of his life even when no Earthly person held even a moment of concern over his well being. Perhaps more-so, when there seemed like he had no control over his own life or he felt utterly unable to help anyone outside of himself, it brought him ease to think that a prayer to a higher power could provide aide that his human hands could not. "God is quite wonderful, yes, but sometimes even He can be strict, like parent. I am not... best to explain. Perhaps some day you can go to church with me, and someone who speak English better can tell you stories of God."
He gently settled the glass down onto the grass to tempt the ants, wondering what type of game 'watch the clouds' would be. He used to cloud watch when he was a youngster but there had never been any real sport to it other than creating shapes out of cumulus tufts that otherwise held no life. He simply quietly watched the two for a moment as they settled into position, wondering if he could observe the rules of the game with his soft storm-cloud eyes before Liv invited him along.
"I will try?" He laughed, his last word lifting with the questioning of his own competence. Following along with the young woman, he slid down onto the blanket, tucking one of his hands behind his head which laid near to Liv's. "When I was young boy we would pick shapes in clouds, and as boy, 'battle' against shapes other boy sees," he smiled, his own light eyes aching at the adjustment to staring up at the blue sky blotched with puffs of cotton soft clouds. "If I were to play now, I see..." he pointed to one cloud that looked like a butterfly, but he didn't know the proper word for it. His hands slipped out from behind his head, thumbs curling around each other to make antenna as he fluttered his hands gently to explain. The shape of his hands fit the cloud perfectly. "Not very powerful."

(( xD ))
He listened as she shuffled around to his side of the tree, and when she finally made it next to him he didn't look at her. He couldn't look at her then, after everything he has just told her. When she reached around his shoulders his first instinct was to jerk away from the contact, and he did at first, pulling partially from her grasp. As the question left her and hung in the air, he stopped moving away. He had never thought about it, but it had always been in his instincts to protect himself, both times Alma attacked him. No, he didn't want to die. He wished he had never been a part of the projects, but he had never, in either life, wished for death. He shook his head and slowly leaned back into her embrace, his cheek resting against her shoulder. He didn't put his arms around her in return, but he rested his hands on her waist to at least give her some acknowledgment.
"I've never wanted to die."

(( Oh yyouuuuuu.... ;-; ))
"I think we'd both like to go with you sometime," Liv smiled at his suggestion as he joined her and Luci on the blanket.
"Well, it's the same thing. We just pick shapes from the clouds. But we don't have to battle," she laughed quietly.
Luci leaned up to see what Mishka pointed at and watched his hands turn into a butterfly, "It's a butterfly!" she piped up, not making the connection that Liv did.
"So it is...I think they can be powerful in their own way...," she trailed off. Truthfully the only thing she could think about was Tyki and his teaze. They weren't butterflies exactly, but they looked like them, and that was enough for her.
"I think their beauty can bring out emotions in people. And that's possibly a quality more powerful than any other," she made up a little something on the spot, though it did hold some truth to it, "I know any time one lands on me, I feel like it's a special moment. It almost entrances me..."

(( Every time I'm about to start a post... somebody needs me to do something... ))
Once he started pulling away she just about dropped her arms back quickly, not wanting to try and comfort someone who obviously didn’t want it. Kiah blinked a bit when reversed direction and leaned into her hold, still frowning sadly at the whole situation. She was honestly glad to hear that he wanted to live, but any joy she felt at the answer was snuffed out by lingering thoughts of his story, wishing that it could have gone differently. She nodded to show that she’d heard and kept quiet.
After a few moments, Kiah let go uncomfortably, not used to hugging anyone anymore. She sat back against the tree next to him and furrowed her brows in thought, wrapping her arms around her legs and looking in the direction of the castle. “Why... did you tell me this?” she asked, nearly too quietly to hear.

(( xD It's okay. ))
Kanda found that the longer Kiah's arms were around his shoulders, the more comfortable it started to feel. When she pulled back, part of him wanted to pull her back in, the security of it welcoming. Instead he let her pull away and he leaned against the tree again, his eyes moving to stare at the ground. He shrugged his shoulders.
"I don't know. It felt like the right thing to do."

(( : DDDD Welcome back Lavi! <3 Is your computer working?! ))
Kiah cocked her head to the side, not quite understanding the reasoning, but accepting it anyway. Maybe it took some of the weight off of his shoulders to talk about it, or maybe he just felt she should know. His guess was as good as hers. She closed her eyes and tried to imagine what it would be like to know that you’d already died and were in a different body, not getting far before she started thinking about the fact that he’d seen him again only months ago.
“Why would you come back?” she felt like she’d been prying enough as it was, and decided that would be the last question. If she was in his position, she would have refused to say anymore on the matter.

((SORRYSORRYSORRY. Still haven't managed to get a good picture and my neighbors are probably frightened of me. : D LOL
LAVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII. *Tackle.* ))
"Butterfly... what funny name," he chuckled quietly, apparently quite amused by the choice the English language had made to name the lovely little creature. His hands separated, his own butterfly falling apart as the spaces between his fingers tucked between one another and slid to pillow the back of his head again.
He went silent, no noise between them except the soft rustle of the wind combing through the leaves, each shuddering gently at the careful touch. Liv seemed to be thinking quite deeply on the lovely insect that slowly drifted past their view, and he wondered if that was part of the game enchantment. "Perhaps. Emotions... they are quite powerful. Hurt more than fists and heal better than medicine," he returned reverently. "What does Liv see?"

(( Hello Lavi, Liv! c: ))
He thought about it and a small smile spread on his lips as he lifted his gaze to look at her.
"I haven't forgiven them for what they've done. I never will. But...I finally became truly free. This time, I decided to become an Exorcist....truly as myself and no one else."
