I say pre-war. The people who wanted to get to the Angel eclipse and use it to prevent a war. And the other people who want to get the angel eclipse and use it to start a war. mrgreen

The Angel Eclipse has been destroyed already, so I'm assuming you're talking about the person who would have it's power.

The guild is already established as a unique place. The towns for the most part are unique as well. An RP based off something like a movie or series would probably not work here.

Hey guys. I read through your discussion and my only concern is that there is quite a bit of temptation for god modding with that Angel Eclipse character. It probably goes without saying but the person in control should be one we all trust not to succumb to it, and I have no one in mind in either case. That is all.

Yeah I was thinking about that too. That's why I was hoping to lay down the ground rules to the person who gets picked, and make sure a mod or someone else who could be trusted has someone stick around that character(or just have someone reading all his/her posts). Would that be acceptable?

Yeah I know. I'm glad you brought that issue up. Hopefully with ground rules we all could agree on, the story would pick up. I'm planning on using a character I already made but didn't actually put in any RP yet, the evil spirit who's out for power and such. So at least we have one character in it that's out for evil purposes.
Now, for rules for that particular character, what should they be? I'm thinking, the basics(no autokilling other people's characters without permission, no autohitting, not be completely immune to damage), plus maybe a time limit on the powers? Like, they could use the powers excessively for a short amount of time before it becomes dangerous to that person? I have a limitation like that with my PreToria character only on a smaller scale, due to her short endurance.

Or perhaps something like the magic use for them is spontaneous outside that character's control, with the time limit for the puppet master. Maybe there is something else that would give control of the powers to whoever has it or something like that, so it's not immediately "I can temporarily have the power of god" thing
