Bakanda Yu

The second Kanda burst from the woods he stopped to catch is breath. He bent over and leaned on his knees, listening hard for the sound of someone following him. When he heard nothing, he let out a heavy sigh. His legs trembled beneath him in small spurts, and he pushed himself up straight again, choking back some air. He picked up running again, towards the Order, but realized that was one of the last placed he wanted to be. He stopped in his tracks and gritted his teeth in frustration. He turned around in circles in the middle of the grounds, pacing with irritation.

After giving it a few minutes, Kiah finally hoisted herself back up, crawling through the bushes easily after Kanda had crashed through them. On the other side she took her shoes off and carried them, padding almost soundlessly through the undergrowth. She sighed quietly every few steps, seriously considering just going back to her clearing to sleep for the night in case he was still close by. She started flitting through the woods and to the Order, sure she’d given him enough time at that point. When she reached the edge of the woods she slowed down, hiding behind a thick tree and peaking around the side to scan the area.
She spotted Kanda instantly from his continual circling, looking restless and a bit angry at the same time. She flinched away every time his pacing brought him closer to the woods, even though he was a good distance away from her. Believing that he was still mad at her, Kiah started rushing back into the woods, accidentally stepping on a few branches in her haste.
