jwalker67 Darestrum jwalker67 Fenrir Graveheart jwalker67 Been playing sooooooo much Monster Hunter.... I figured that's where you've been. lol It should be illegal for a game to be this addicting....just one more hunt to get that rare item I need.....just one more hunt....argh! damn, didn't get it....just one more fight to get it...just one more.... I'll say it one more time, its depressing how they took out all of the most fun monsters to fight and most of the hard core ones! Tigrex, Akantor, Daimo Hermitor, Shogun Centaur, Shen Morian, Lao Shan Lung, Fatalist, Chameleons, Kushla Doara, Lunaestra, Teoestra, Kirin, Yama Tsukrigu, Blonganga, Congalala, Rajang...And those are off the- Khezu- top of my head... Over all im sure the new ones make up for the removal of the old ones and I'm sure its just as good as the previous but imma miss all of the above and MORE crying
KING SHAKALAKA... okay done I was about to chew you out until I read the bolded part.....good save. Glad to see you understand that a game shouldn't be declared bad or inferior to the other past installments just because the company that made the game chose not to include some past content. That said, I will miss Tigrex, Lau Shan Lung, Khezu, and Shen Gaoren. If Monster Hunter 4 is ever localized, we will be seeing Tigrex make a return, but that all depends on how successful Monster Hunter Ultimate is in the western hemisphere. I mean they added water battles...so thats good...But I look at the game now and theres just a lot of sub species not many different monsters. But in all seriousness, im royally pissed off how they took out some of the most amazing, bad a**, incredible fights in the game. but the kept Shen Goren who looks fun as ******** to fight. But thhey need more uber guys! DLC DLC DLC!

Many of which are completely new, and/or brought over from Monster Hunter Portable 3rd which was never released in the US. You got stuff like the Deviljho, Zinogre, and Dire Miralis....there are plenty of epic fights in the game. If ever you one day give it a chance, I think you would see that this game is pretty fantastic. I was pretty disappointed some monsters weren't included as well, but I wasn't blinded by rose tinted glasses by it.

Much more over a quarter sure, and even then, the monsters themselves give out different pieces of resources to make better armor, and have almost entirely different move-sets so it's almost like your essentially fighting an entirely new monster. I ain't complaining about the sub-species. Plus dude, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, while fantastic, only included FIVE new monsters from the previous games (as described by GameStop's description of the game). All the rest were sub-species out the wind-pipe. So it's not like this hasn't been done before.

Still compared to the monsters in yours which I did my research on, there are way better monsters on Unite, More Elder Dragons., you get high rank quests for single player and DLC and its overall a long a** game. What do you mean by better monsters? In terms of design? Most of the monsters were based on creatures of myth, and while cool designs they were, they were relatively borrowed and uninspired. Once it started to get into Portable 3rd though, the designs became more unique, and left more of an imprint in my mind. Better in terms of mechanics and animation? Were looking at a generational gap between the two, not only do they look and move better, their hitboxes are obviously vastly superior to those found in past titles. As far as that is concerned, monsters from this generation of gaming have the advantage of being created with superior game design techniques. Off the topics of monsters for a second, it sounding like you think Ultimate is shorter than Freedom Unite. Well I to did my research, and technically you are right, but it is shorter by only a small margin, and still hosts an amazing amount of content. The length of the two games are so close to each other, it is practically unnoticeable. You are also forgetting that you also get High Rank single player quests, or rather, you have the option to do it single player. All online content can be accessed and played, and possible beaten by a single player, which was the case with Freedom Unite as well. You know, I respect all people's opinions regarding games, even if I think they are wrong, so whether you feel that Freedom ith da bast thing eva! or not, you won't find me complaining much.....but dude, don't be going and trying to convince me that your opinion is correct when I obviously don't share it. I have been immensely enjoying this game ever since I got it on the 19th and all you have been doing is constantly downing the vibe. Now I have acutely expressed my opinions and reasoning behind my like for this game, as have you for Freedom, and all I ask is that I get the same respect for my opinions as I give for yours.

I just love the monsters and maybe its also because its the 3DS that makes it such a turn off for me as well, PSP had tight a** controls and made s**t just seem AMAZING, I saw some of the designs on Tri itself and was kind of let down. Play Tri somewhat ruinned it for me but i'll give it another go, I just cant say much postive stuff because of Tri. idk man, it jsut bugged me

Many are hailing it as the Monster Hunter Tri it should have been in the first place. And you know me, I have the very strict philosophy of "you can't knock a game until you try it or is at least universally hated....and even then there are exceptions". ( ex. I'm opening a can of worms here, but Mass Effect 3, just because of it's ending, doesn't mean it is a bad game, yet it's pretty much hated by a vast majority of the population because of it)

I mean in term of the fights and hunts, Like s**t there are some hard core fights, and you have to make sure s**t goes your way and you ahve to time stuff. I just love the monsters and maybe its also because its the 3DS that makes it such a turn off for me as well, PSP had tight a** controls and made s**t just seem AMAZING, I saw some of the designs on Tri itself and was kind of let down. Play Tri somewhat ruinned it for me but i'll give it another go, I just cant say much postive stuff because of Tri. idk man, it jsut bugged me I assure you, the controls are vastly superior to the PSP and the Wii with the Classic Controller, even without the Circle Pad Pro (underwater combat is possible without it as long as you abuse the new lock on feature) Plus it is not just on the 3DS but on the WiiU as well...which is like the Wii, but is portable, can connect to the TV, and is a overall much more powerful machine (its unfortunate their are not that many good games out on it yet, hopefully Monster Hunter will change that). Many are hailing it as the Monster Hunter Tri it should have been in the first place. And you know me, I have the very strict philosophy of "you can't knock a game until you try it or is at least universally hated....and even then there are exceptions". ( ex. I'm opening a can of worms here, but Mass Effect 3, just because of it's ending, doesn't mean it is a bad game, yet it's pretty much hated by a vast majority of the population because of it) Oh I never said I wasnt going to get it. I jsut said im gonna miss the ******** outta my babies :c ........ o_o....w..wut? 0_o Wait...your going to buy a 3DS? That is a serious investment...I mean sure it's for Monster Hunter but....You know something....actually...do it. It means that you and I will be able to play Pokemon X and Y when it comes out.

jwalker67 Darestrum jwalker67 Darestrum jwalker67 What do you mean by better monsters? And oh yea....Animal Crossing. To bad that doesn't come out for awhile, oh well....Luigi's Mansion 2 Dark Moon comes out pretty soon here so I'll go ahead and get that. I also know that shop game is coming out this year (the one made by Harvest Moon creators), Rune Factory 4, Pokemon X and Y, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Tis a good year to be a 3DS owner.

Only ones I might be interested in getting is Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, ZombieU, Super Mario Bros U, and Bayonetta 2 (not out yet)... Considering Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate pretty much saved the 3DS in Japan when it came out, I am hoping it does the same for the WiiU so we can get more titles. I want to get a WiiU, I really do....but the library of games is kinda piss poor at the moment.
