It wasn't really the fact that I got up early... It was the fact that I'd gotten five hours the night before. XD I was very obnoxious yesterday. ))

Yeah, I was up till one last night and the night before and I have to be up around 6:30-7:00 every morning, so i know how that is.))

He had been leaning against the walls of the Order when she burst back outside. He had little time to gather his wits before she was dashing off for the woods. It was lucky he was used to tailing people, because he easily shook himself into alertness and caught up with her. When they got into the woods he side-stepped around trees, following her closely. Part of him wanted to slow down and savor the thickness of the wood, with no sound save for the crunching of undergrowth beneath their feet. But she was so excited, thrill seeming to emanate from every part of her, he couldn't help being slightly overcome himself. He had forgotten what it was like to be this active in a real setting as opposed to the dismal training room. He leaped over bushes here and there with ease, his silky ponytail cascading behind him in the breeze. (( Welcome back Kanda! <3 *RP smacks* Star: Why do you have to get up that early? )) Kiah was having an absolute blast running through the woods with someone who could keep up with her easily, even if she was getting tired dodging around all of the branches partway through. Laughs could be heard in between her heavy breathing as they continued on, getting closer to the clearing that she’d found so long ago. She was excited to see how everything had grown in while she’d been away. Practically gliding over roots and other obstacles as if she had some type of radar, she grinned mischievously and looked behind herself to see how close he was before cutting to the right and practically slammed down to the ground, rolling under the bushes near her secret spot. She tried hard not to giggle, unbothered by the fact that her hair was getting yanked on some of the twigs that clung to the snarls there.

Kanda was still rushing through the woods, hot on her heels. He was starting to grin from ear to ear as the rush of blood filled them. As Kiah looked back at him with a mischievous smile and then veered off, his grin fell away fast. He lurched around a tree and skidded in the underbrush, whipping back around to see where she had disappeared to. He stood stark still, slowing his breathing to try and hear over the pounding of his heart in his chest. He rested one palm up against the tree closest to him, spotting the bushes Kiah had rolled under. He narrowed his eyes a little and then slipped behind another large tree. He started to climb as quietly as he could.

Star: Ahhh, I see. And you don't go back to sleep afterward? I have to wake my dad up at 6:00 and stay with him for however long it takes... Usually I can get a good two hours if I'm lucky once he's up. ))
Kiah covered her mouth with her hands to keep from revealing her location, watching as he overshot her position and had to stop his momentum. When he disappeared behind a tree and didn’t come back around the other side, she tried craning her neck forward to look around it, rustling the branches that were stuck in her hair. Wondering if he wandered the wrong way, Kiah poked her head out of the bushes to see better, scanning the foliage and tilting her head in confusion. She slowly started to wiggle her way out, still scrutinizing everything at eye level.

((Kiah: Sometimes, but not always. I've gotten into a pattern of staying up one day and going back to sleep the next, but sometimes I break that and just stay up a few days in a row. I have no clue why I do that though...))
