Oh I see. Maybe it's an elaborate setup by Des to overthrow the other mods and take over the guild?
But seriously, it really does make no sense for him to have made a new thread.

Actually, that would be the rotten trout he keeps in his cape pockets.

As for BF2, I totally agree.
What irks me most is the ships. SO uncanonical. An ARC-170 could blow an X-Wing to pieces.
But the lack of storyline is the worst. I was looking forward to a full 80 hour + romp.

What I want is the planets you control to automatically give you small bonuses in the next BF. That way, the more you have, the stronger the army could potentially be. And I miss superweapons....

-Like Kashhyyk giveyou auto-healing vehicles, since Wookies fix stuff...
-Manaan/Thyferra gives you auto-heal infantry
-Corelleia gives better side arms, becauses of BlasTech
-Carida/Corulag allows you to automatically use elite units like Officers, Clone Gunner, etc.
At that point, controlling key planets could allow even an overwhelmingly outnumbered player to make a formidble stand

There is no emotion, There is no ignorance, There is no passion, There is no chaos, There is no death,
I can understand that getting a better position is good, but wouldn't it be better to just be really good at shooting? I mean the objective of it is to conquer all planets and destroy the other force, so being good at, aiming, shooting, killing, does also help. (Sorry if I have no clue what I'm talking about and just ruined the thread)
...there is peace. ...there is knowledge. ...there is serenity. ...there is harmony. ...there is the Force.

I think it'd be cool if they made more unique units, such as how there are different clonetrooper/stormtrooper legions like the 501st, such as if there were different options for which legion you wanted, instead of just the 501st.

I just saw the trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" and I was wandering what other people thought about this game. I think it looks fairly interesting.

I'm not impressed. Just another Jedi heavy game.
I'm just plain sick of that crap.

It loks good visually, and it probably plays good, and will be a great game.
But like Cale, I'm etired of Jedi games. I'm ready for Rogue Squadron IV!

I'd rather play a Star Wars: X-wing spin off then a Rogue Squadron game...
Or something more in the line of the Original Dark Forces. No Force Powers!
If that isn't enough how about a Star Wars: Fleet Commander type game that measures up to Warlords?

I would love an original Dark Forces style game! I wasted so much time on that game when I was younger.
