Magic isn't a short cut, Nick. Besides, I'm a lot more interested in what went on up here. You don't invade the most sophisticated lab in the Nexus just to fulfill a dream of staging your own episode of Doctor Who.

Well. Really no point in loitering around fouling up MORE of my work, is there? I'm sure you can keep me appraised with whatever this minor disruption is....As you can see I've some tidying to do so it's best you be on your way.

Yes, of course. It is only in reverting everything back to the way it should be that it will be evident - to my eyes, this being MY laboratory - what is out of place. You may do your pointless 'scans' and searches for fingerprints and what have you, but you lack the context to determine which bit of microbial data does and does not belong in here.
And to be perfectly frank, having you aliens tromping around in here is only going to serve to disrupt it more, isn't it. So unless you have a hunch worth presenting to me as a reason for letting you poke around here further, I suggest you explore other avenues of investigation.
