Sosomi sat in the corner, his umbrella by his side. He was silently watching everyone else. Hopefully there wouldn't be any tests, he hated tests.

This was getting boring. Where was the teacher? Sosomi practiced his Water manipulation by twirling a small stream of water in the air.

after a while, Sosomi began to use flies as target practice. He missed a couple, but the ones he did hit were buzzing were they fell. Being wet, they couldn't fly anymore.

Sosomi soon began to practice making water boil. He surged his chakra into a bowl of water. He managed to make the water boil for three minutes before it stopped. He ate a food pill to replenish his chakra and tried again.

Sosomi stood in the back of the classroom and made the signs. A version of him rose from teh bowl. However, it was shorter than he was. He sighed. Was he ever going to get the hang of water manipulation jutsu?

After a few failed attempts at a bunshin, Sosomi began to twirl a few petals in the air boredly when he got an idea.

He walked outside and stared at the sakura tree. He mad the seals his mother tuaght him and the bunshin seals. Petals from the tree and even some from nowhere flowed and twirled in front of him until he was staring at a perfect copy of himself. He had made a Hanabunshin (flower clone). He smiled a little and grabbed his umbrella.

Sosomi stood ready, as did his clone. He decided to make the first move. He dashed towards the clone, his hand on the bottom part of his umbrella. The clone jumped in the air, pointed the umbrella down and began his decent. Sosomi was too quick for himself, however, and in a quick flash of steal a pile of petals lay on the ground.

Rather proud of himself, he walked back into the classroom. He had created a jutsu on his own, the Hanabunshin. He would have to work on the fighting style of the bunshin however, it seemed too slow to be him. He sat and thought of ways he could do that. He also began to wonder how many other jutsu's he could do with Hana, or how much he could further the strength of his existing ones. His mind began to race with ideas. He would have to wait until he was a Genin however.

Sosomi had another idea. When he remembered how easy it was to manipulate hana, he thought of it the same way as when he manipulated water. To be a master of both Mizu and Hana, he would be quite the arsenist. He focused and calmed his mind then performed the seals. Two Sosomi rose from the bowl on the floor. Both looked exactly like him. He commanded the two to fight each other to see if his expirament worked.
The bunshin fought with the quickness and grace that Sosomi himself fought with. They dissapeared as Sosomi sat in his chair. Beaming on the inside and thinking how proud his father would be of him.
