Well damn. I forget about this place for ONE MINUTE, and there are a bunch of applicants. No doubt gone by now..

Sorry~

Alone, Nova sit in his room awaiting the death squad to come. His eyes slowly scan the room as shadows begin to emerge from every coner. He stand ready to accept his fate, but then hears the voice of his master. He says your time as not yet come my son, defeat your foes and join me. Nova falls to the floor grabbing his blade from under the chair attacking each member of the death squad with his katana striking them all down. Then he turns towards the window and leaps toward the woods. Where is soon joined by his master as the leave their once beloved village hidden in the leaf .

The main thing that irks me is not your lack of past-tense, but how you don't have s's in front of your verbs 0.0

Though that may be a typo. ANYWHO, just work on RPing in past tense. You pass, but I'll be watching you ninja

I've been gone for so long that I'm sure that Sunagakure has moved on without me, and I haven't been online roleplaying since I left, only live-action, so I figured I might as well submit myself to the academy once again to brush up, then re-apply for Suna. So here goes a shot with my new to this roleplay but not so new to me character, Ai Yuuki.

It had been a long day, and Ai was more than ready to go to bed, but there was still more business to attend to. Mother needed her to clean up the house before she and Father left for the weekend, and Father wanted her to finish reading the last few chapters of the book on scroll usage TODAY, or GOD KNOWS that she'd never make it in life without knowing the most effective ways to open and close a scroll.

Ai pulled her hair back into a ponytail for the millionth time that day; for some reason her hair was just too stuborn to give the stupid elastic any friction. She walked back into the house from her backyard and stepped into the kitchen to start cleaning the dishes. Her parents floated about as if without a care in the world, absolutely nothing to do, and she sighed to herself. Ugh. Life.

Tee hee! I like it. I hope you're still around.
Sunagakure is.. Very inactive (I think). You might want to consider joining Otogakure (Two kages active) or Konohagakure (One kage that checks in every once in a while~). You pass, but you may want to join another village until things pick up again. We are coming out of quite the slow patch :]

Quote:
i have'nt got much experience role-playing but i'll give it a shot.

Raiamu was exhausted after a long day training at the academy. When he got home he lay in his bed reading about justus and techniques essential to a shinobi, when he was finished it was nearly time to sleep. But he lay awake unable to sleep, he sat thinking how the day had went, he began thinking about the big thing... graduation. He knew he had practised, alot,so he waited there silently as the moonshine crept over the houses of Konoha.

Its needs work. I'll be blunt. razz

But, its not horrible. Just needs a bit of practice is all.

You may also want to reword the last sentence.. "Moonshine" where I come from is an alcohol brewed in a backyard distillery. "Shine of the moon" perhaps? biggrin
Pass!

Quote:
"Damn, damn, damn, damn... Why now?!" his legs shook and trembeld so fircely, resulting in that of his balance rapidly sunk after that of his eyes had gazed upon the horrible sight that was before him. "Today?! Of 365 days it happend... They.. They did it today.." his led out a huge sigh and let his finger gently glide through the half-green-half-black of his. "I will make them.. Pay.." he said with a hateful voice. "I will" and with these words he slowly rose from his crouched down posistion on the white, tiled floor and began to walk to the room of theirs. But on the way he stopped to grab a pencil and a piece of paper to then stop infront of their room and wrote the following on the piece of paper which he placed on the floor infront of the dark wooden door:

"You forgot to buy milk. I am really sad."

YES. I lol'ed. The defining moment of hilarity was, "I am really sad."

Pass, and good luck!

Staring at the ground for quite sometime made Hisae realize the fact she is no other than. . . oh the dreaded word. . . late. Quickly standing from her crouching position, she sprinted to the gates of Konoha and bounded to the Hokage room. Bursting in, she then skidded to a stop and made a great effort to hide her heavy panting.

"You're late. As usual," a low voice was spoken over her panting.

Too tired to reply back, the young teen then looked around the office for an extra chair to sit on. Forgetting her manners, she plopped herself criss-crossed on the ground in front of the desk and supported the upper-half of her body by placing her hands behind her. Hisae threw her head back and stared at the ceiling, oblivious at the thick book coming right at her.

Smack.

Unfortunately, she didn't dodge it at the last second. Not even a little centimeter to avoid a bruise planted on her face. Laying on the ground and fidgeting at the pain across her face, she lifted the heavy book with shaking hands. The young girl bit the bottom of her lip to stop it from quivering and tried to hold back tears of pain. She then sat up to a more appropriate position, kneeling with her hands folded on her lap. She did not look up at the higher one for she is utterly upset.

"I didn't call you up here at this time of hour for you to cry and receive a thorough lecture from me, but to give you a mission. And you wasted a good amount of oral instructions that you could've received if you came in on time and not be so rude." He calmly said.

The poor girl nodded, her head still down and she wiped her tears with her arms. Looking up to the Hokage with renewed determination.

"I'm ready. Throw it at me," she said with a more confident tone.

The old man nodded and picked up a scroll, then swiftly threw it towards Hisae. Catching it with gentle hands, she then smiled.

"Read it, then complete it. But not here. Do it outside of Konoha so no one can interfere."
"Got it," and off she went, jogging down the steps of the tower and reaching the streets of the village and passing wanderers. Mind and heart racing at her new latest mission, she was ready for anything. Reaching the gate, Hisae opened her scroll and read the important mission. Then she had a dumbfounded look on her face.

"This. This is. . ." She stuttered.

In the scroll was written in black ink:
"Practice you're dodging. I can't believe you would get an inanimate object reach you."

Grabbing the scroll with an angered look, she then stared at the Hokage tower and yelled something out loud that seemed too fast spoken to be correctly heard. She also understood why the Hokage told her to read it outside, she she couldn't strangle him right then and there for such a stupid thing that he was pass off as a 'mission'.

Ariana walks out onto the beach although she should be at the academy trying to become a, "stud," or "Hot shot." Ariana had interests in becoming a famous or at least well known ninja both in the medical and battle field but currently she had major issues with fighting willingly. Ariana was usually dressed for for beach conditions. Under her punk miniskirt and shirt was a special made bikini that was pretty much custom made for her. It was mostly a surprise for battle condition purposes but Ariana mostly liked it for looks. Along Ariana's back were two columns of piercings starting from the top and going down. This pattern was also on her stomach. With in each piercing was a ribbon threading through it connecting to the next piercing in a shoe laced fashion. The ribbons quite attractive and black. Her forearms, upper bicep, sides, and legs shared the same design of piercings and threading of ribbons. Some ribbons and piercings black and others pink to match her chakra. Ariana's face also contained a few piercings and her ears were as well. Ariana had snake bites and a third lip piercing down the middle of the bottom lip. Her tongue was pierced as well with a horn designed stud piercing. Her nose was pierced like that of a bulls and her left eye brow as well. Her eyes always changing colors but stuck a bright blue like that of the sky. Her skin was beautiful and contained a lot of tone in it that seemed so natural. Her brown hair waved behind her as she stood still enjoying the nice summer breeze on the nice relaxing beach. The sea was looking perfectly cleansed and ready to have fun in. Ariana took of her clothes so that she were in her bikini and ran towards the water in a rushas sand kicked up behind her. The hot sand made the bottom of her feet sting with every step giving her more of an incentive on why she should run for the waters. Ariana had a smile on though she were alone she wouldn't let it get to her. As she stepped into the shallow water her feet felt instantly relieved and she jumped into the air. As she jumped she curled into a ball tucking her legs with her arms as she cannon balled into the deeper end splashing water up a bit. Ariana's butt touched the floor of the shallower yet not so shallow end of the ocean. Once she felt that she released her legs and used them to push off to resurface the water. Ariana had her eyes closed as she kicked her feet and motioned her hands and arms to swim to the top. Her eyes closed from the moment she entered since she hated having water in her eyes especially since the ocean may have contained salt. At the top of the ocean Ariana kicked her feet fluently to keep her above water using a bicycle pedaling motion. As she did so she combed her hair back and out of her face running her fingers through her hair. She then swiped her fingers over her face to rid of dripping water. She hated waters in her eyes even fresh water. As a baby she had bad incidents with baby shampoo and water and just hated it. That never was the true reason but played a small part in it. After clearing her face of distractions Ariana opened her eyes slowly still having a bit of water on her eye lashes but paid it little attention. She swiped her fingers over her face to rid of them then looked around for a moment. Though she was here for fun she definitely had training in mind. Ariana leaned forward diving into the water with both hands pressed together with the palms open and fingers closed. Ariana went right back under water and began to swim like a mermaid not kicking nor flailing her arms. Her arms came down to her sides as she swam and once near enough to the shore she curled into a ball and extended her legs. She would find that she was close enough to shore to stand with her head above water but barely. Ariana had to look directly up as she was short and the water was basically her height. As she tilted her head up she began to walk closer to shore until she could look ahead and walk onto land. Once on the sandy beach she walked to her towel and sat down on it. She took out another towel and began to dry herself off so she could lay down and relax while the sun would do the rest.
"this is the best..."
Ariana said giving off a sigh of relief as she laid there feel the rays of the sun. She sat up remembering she needed sun block and began to rub some all over and when I say all over I mean all over she didn't miss an inch of her body literally. Ariana then laid back down and to make sure she got a good tan she lowered her bikini bottom a bit by the chains and went back to relaxing as she sipped on her soda through a straw.

Ryu sat on the balcony in the warm summer air with his guitar in hand. He closed his eyes and took a breath, tasting all the scents of the village around him. A melody came to him and his fingers began to fly up and down the fretboard as he gave voice to the music in his mind. He finished and ran through the song again in his head before smiling with a sense of satisfaction. He played through the song again slowly, stopping to notate each phrase on a piece of paper as he went.
When he finished he stood up and plugged his guitar into a small amplifier he had with him, he took his power stance and once more played the song, following the notation he had written. The sound carried across the street and some of the villagers stopped to listen. He closed his eyes and became lost in the music, expanding even more upon the simple melody he created earlier. Eventually he stopped, slightly tired from playing the instrument longer than he originally intended, his fingertips were red raw but he didn't have time to notice this as he was thanking the small crowd that had gathered below him and began applauding.

For the minimum standard required by the guild, you pass. heart However I would first of all put spaces in between full stops/commas and the start of the next sentence. ><

And maybe talk more about what you're actually doing and less about your background. biggrin But don't worry too much about it. I know it's difficult to do that without having other peoples' posts to react to. Go ahead and start making your profiles, PMing Kages of open villages, etc. biggrin

((Okay, here goes my attempt.))

Katsu walked down the sidewalk with a blank look on his face, belying the thoughts going through his head at the moment. 'Damn, I forgot why I even left my room today. Oh, well. Might as well do something while I'm out.' He kept walking with no destination in particular and that same blank look on his face. He stopped and looked around at the buildings he had not noticed up until now. 'I think I'm in the shopping district. Was I supposed to come here to get something? Damn, I hope it wasn't anything important.' He spotted a bookstore across the street and decided to check it out. Without checking for safety, Katsu turned quickly and sprinted to the other side of the street. He took a moment to catch his breath and then calmly walked into the bookstore. Trying not to make eye contact with the person behind the cash register, he kept walking until he was out of view behind a shelf full of magazines. He looked around to figure out where the different sections were located in the store. 'I don't think anyone is watching me.' He thought to himself as a smirk crept onto his face. Trying his best not to draw attention to himself, Katsu walked into the adult literature section. He ducked behind the shelves and started scanning the covers for something eye-catching. One book in particular caught his attention; 'Icha Icha Paradise'. Being a kid, he knew he couldn't purchase this book legally, even though he was tall for a kid, face to face he knew he couldn't pass for an adult, but temptation and raging hormones got the better of him. He glanced around to see if the coast was clear and then stuffed the book into his pants. After adjusting it so that it did not stick out too much, he started towards the exit. The seconds felt like minutes and as he neared the front of the store, he noticed the cashier staring at him. When he reached the door, he nodded to the man behind the counter as if to say 'Bye', and walked through the door with as much nonchalance as he could muster. As the door closed behind him and he turned to make his way back home, he let out a huge sigh of relief. With a grin on his face, he thought 'I am gonna be a freakin' great ninja.' The first alley he came across, he ducked in and started climbing over fences and then running down alleyways to get back home. After an hour of making sure no one had followed him, he got to his apartment and unlocked the door. He slipped through the door into the dark one room apartment as if to make a statement that he was indeed going to be a freakin' great ninja, locked the door behind him, went to the kitchen area and opened the fridge. He was thirsty from all the running and as he looked through the fridge, he remembered something, "Oh crap, I forgot to get milk..."
