What I want to point is Sakura's lack of happiness recently in the manga.
Ever since they ran into Sasuke again, I've just now noticed, she really hasn't been... Sakura.
She seems more depressed now-- her facial expressions are always sad or full of longing. We've seen her cry multiple times. Shes' been immensely serious in EVERYTHING considering missions and Sasuke. And now that she's closer to Sasuke, has anyone noticed this?
She's always looking nervous. Always has sweat on her face. She NEVER looks up from the ground. It's like she's getting skiddish.
It's really kind of scary when you stop to think about it-- it's like she's on the verge of a breaking point emotionally.
And if THAT doesn't tell you how much Sasuke means to her, then I don't know what does.
Precisely. It's hard to move on when a person becomes such an integral part of your very existence. It can be said through her actions, that Sasuke means much to Sakura. She CAN'T just forget him and move on as people say. She's too rooted to Sasuke. She has always been. (Even to the point where she was willing to betray Konoha and go with him to Sound. Sasuke meant/means that much to her).
Both Naruto and Sakura are reaching their breaking points, but in Sakura's case it seems more deep. She puts up that facade around Naruto and cheers him on. Even when she was crying after Sasuke left (after the brief but not so friendly Team 7 reunion) Sakura had her back to Naruto so that he would not see her tears. And then again she cried in the confines of her room.
This is not something she can let go. Bonds this deep can't be cut for either Naruto and Sakura. Both need Sasuke in their lives. He has a tremendous emotional impact on both of them.
People need to stop thinking that Naruto and Sakura can have their happily ever after together by simply forgetting Sasuke and letting him go. I just don't see that happening.
